Phelps, 23, trains 30 hours a week and consumes 12000 calories a day. In order to supplement the calories lost in training, he must take enough calories in his daily diet. Phelps also said that he doesn't have too many restrictions on his diet, and he always eats a lot of things he likes. He must supplement as many calories as possible.
Phelps's daily diet is as follows:
Breakfast: 3 fried egg sandwiches, 2 cups of coffee, 5 fried eggs, 1 bowl of corn porridge, 3 pieces of French toast and 3 pieces of chocolate pancakes.
Lunch: 1 lb pasta, 2 ham and cheese sandwiches, energy drinks (1000 calories or more).
Dinner: 1 lb pasta, 1 whole pizza, energy drinks (more than 1000 calories).
