Xiaodian town is mountainous in the north and south, with Ruhe alluvial plain in the middle. Ruhe River, the largest river in the county, flows from Chengguan Town to Ruzhou City from west to east, dividing Xiaodian Town into Henan and Hebei. Banpeng River and Guandi River both flow into Ruhe River from Liudian Township and Huangtun River and Guandi River respectively. Yunmeng of Ruhe Immigration Station confronted Ziluo Mountain in the north and south, which was called Ruque in ancient times. Wulongshan Scenic Area, Damashan Mountain and Shuangtou Mountain stand in the north of the town. In 2006, it administered 20 village committees: Xiaodian Village, Mazhuang Village, Xiaosi Village, Fuzhuang Village, Yangjiaqu Village, Chefang Village, Longquan Village, Ziluo Village, Huzhai Village, Shuangfeng Village, Magou Village, Guandi Village, Qin Wa Village, Zhaocun Village, Hucun Village, Huangtun Village, Shengwangtai Village, Licun Village, Gaozhuang Village and Wangtai Village. The total population of the town is 443 13, including 40997 agricultural population and 38 16 non-agricultural population.
