1. If the system restore function is turned on in Win7 system, frequent updates will produce many restore points, which will occupy a lot of system space, often reaching several GB. First, please click the computer icon on the desktop, right-click and select the "Properties" option in the pop-up menu.

2. On the computer property page, click and select the "System Protection" menu button to enter the system protection function page, and you can see that the system recovery function is turned on.

3. Next, click the "Configure" option menu on the page to configure the system update file. At this point, we can choose to delete some restore points.

4. Next, select the "Delete" menu button in the pop-up page and click "OK" to delete the restore point file existing in the current system. After deleting the restore point, we can create a new system restore point ourselves.
