2. Open the channel panel and click the "Create New Channel" button at the bottom of the panel to create a new channel Alpha 1.
3. Set the foreground color to white, then use the text tool to enter the word "neon" and move the text to the center of the background. Press ctrl+d to deselect.
4. Click the blur item in the filter menu to execute the Gaussian blur filter and set the radius value to 3.
5. Drag the Alpha 1 channel on the channel panel to the "New Channel" button at the bottom, and copy the Alpha 1 channel. The newly created channel is the Alpha 2 channel.
6. Execute the calculation command of the image menu, and the result of channel operation is saved in the new channel Alpha 3. The following figure shows the settings of the Calculation dialog box.
7. Click Adjust on the Image menu, or press CTRL+I to reverse the color of the image.
8. Click the RGB channel on the Channels panel, or press CTRL+~ to switch to the color channel.
9. Press the Ctrl key to click the Alpha 3 channel to install the Alpha 3 channel.
10. Select the linear gradient tool in the toolbox, double-click to open its options panel, and select the gradient item as transparent rainbow.
1 1. Hold down the Shift key and drag the mouse in the image to gradually change the text selection horizontally.
12. Press Ctrl+D to cancel the selection, and finish the production of neon characters.
