How to make drive C bigger by reloading the system?
First of all, confirm that the C disk and the expansion disk are on the same hard disk (disk), and the expansion disk must be adjacent to the right side of the C disk, with volume labels, such as C, D, E, F, etc.

Next, press Win +X at the same time, select Disk Management, and enter the Disk Management interface to view disks.

Second, be sure to back up all the computer data to the mobile hard disk or network disk outside the computer.

Third, uninstall the software installed on the expansion disk (such as disk D) in advance, otherwise it may lead to an error when installing again, and the software cannot be installed.

Fourth, begin to expand.

Step 1: Delete the partition on the right side of drive C and turn it into an unallocated partition.

1. Press win +X at the same time, select Disk Management, right-click drive D, and select Delete Volume.

2. If all the data of the computer has been backed up, click "Yes" to delete the D disk.

Step 2: unfold disk C.

1. Right-click drive C and select Extended Volume.

2. Click "Next" as prompted.

3. The system will automatically calculate the maximum expansion capacity. If there are no special expansion requirements, click Next and finish. You can manually enter the expansion capacity in the red box.

4. After clicking "Finish", the expansion of drive C is completed.

If there are multiple disk partitions, it is best to modify the drive letter according to the situation after the expansion is completed. As shown in the figure below, you can replace disk E with disk D, otherwise some data may be confused. The method of changing the volume label is as follows:

1. Enter Disk Management, right-click the disk whose volume label needs to be changed, and then click Change Drive and Path.

2. Click Change.

3. Click the volume label (letter) in the red part on the right, select the volume label to be changed, and then click OK.
