What are the suitable breeding modes for sturgeon?
There are two kinds of sturgeon culture modes in saline-alkali ponds: mixed culture in Danyang River;

(1) Acipenser sturgeon is suitable for stocking 20 ~ 25 cm fish in single culture, generally with 0/000 fish per mu/kloc. Feed feeding should abide by the principle of "four determinations", that is, timing (feeding twice every morning and evening), quantitative (determining the daily feeding amount according to the growth and feeding situation of fish), fixed-point (fixed-point feeding) and qualitative (feeding sturgeon produced by regular feed manufacturers with full-price compound feed).

It is best to set up several feed tables for pond culture. Generally, there are four feed tables in a pond of about 5 mu, with an area of 2 ~ 4 m2. The feed table should be placed at a distance of 10 ~ 20 cm from the bottom of the pond, and the bottom of the pond below should be made of sand and gravel. Before each feeding, lift the bait table off the water, clean up the unfinished feed, and adjust the feeding amount according to the feeding situation of sturgeon. The daily feeding rate gradually decreased from 3% ~ 3.5% of fish weight to 1% ~ 2%. In a year or so, sturgeon can weigh more than 600 grams.

(2) Mixed culture of sturgeon The mixed culture of sturgeon can choose a pond with a large area, which is also the main mode of sturgeon culture. Mainly mixed with fish such as silver carp and grass carp. Silver carp and grass carp are mainly raised, and large-sized fish of about 20 cm can be put in, and the stocking amount is 30 fish/mu, which can grow to more than 1000 g in the next year, and there is no need to feed sturgeon specially in the culture; The sturgeon is the main fish, and the large-sized fish of about 20 cm can be put in, and the stocking amount is 200 ~ 400 pieces/mu. After one year's culture, the individual weight of sturgeon can reach about1000g.
