Zheng Liu, formerly known as Liu, was born in Beijing. 1926. He graduated from the Department of Western Languages in Peking University. He has been a teacher, editor, editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief of People's Education Publishing House. He is currently honorary president of Chinese Poetry Society, honorary editor-in-chief of China Poetry magazine, and consultant of Mao Zedong Poetry Research Society in China and Fable Literature Research Society in China. Liu Zheng published his works from 1948 and joined the Chinese Writers Association from 1979. He is the author of seven fable poems and satirical poetry collections, such as Hai Yan Jie, Spring Breeze and Misty Rain, Flower God and Rain God, and seven poetry collections, such as Walking Clouds Outside the Building, Painting Tiger House Poetry and Yue Ji Collection. Yan Yu in Spring Breeze won the National Excellent Poetry Award for Young and Middle-aged Poets and the National Excellent Poetry Collection Award; Zheng Liu's fable poetry won the Golden Camel Award of China Fable Literature Research Association; The old-style poem "Red Bean Song" won the first prize in the Red Bean Acacia Festival Poetry Competition; The article has won many awards from national newspapers such as People's Daily.
