The tea has expired. Can I still drink it?
It is recommended not to drink, but as long as the bulk tea leaves are not mildewed, they can be eaten in the sun without affecting drinking. But tea is out of date. For ordinary tea, the fresher the better. For example, the shelf life of green tea at low temperature is generally about one year.

The main factors affecting the quality of tea are light, temperature and humidity. If the storage method is proper, reducing or eliminating these factors can prolong the storage time of tea, but it is also drinkable for expired vacuum-packed tea, but there will be some side effects.

Because expired tea leaves are more or less harmful to health, although there is not much difference in color and taste, the ingredients inside have changed and the nutritional value has been lost. It is recommended to drink fresh tea leaves for health.

Precautions:

Expired tea, especially moldy tea, will get wet slowly, and then some mold will grow. This kind of tea will soak in water. As the temperature drops, bacteria will rot tea and produce some harmful toxins, so it is best not to drink expired tea.
