When we just create a new virtual machine on Virtual Box and run it, a window will pop up to remind us to add the mirror CD file. Click the Directory icon in the window and select an image file on your computer.

Method 2

1

If we want to replace the image file in the virtual machine in the future, we can click the "CD" icon at the lower right of the virtual machine running window.

2

If you want to change a different image file, click the "Select Virtual CD/DVD Disk File" option, and then you can select a different image file.

If you have an optical drive on your Mac, you can also choose to add the optical drive on your Mac to the virtual machine. Similarly, click the CD icon at the bottom right, and then select the one at the beginning of the host drive.

Method 3

1. This method is only available when the virtual machine is turned off. Select the virtual machine to which you want to add the image file in the main interface of the virtual box, and then click the "Settings" button.

2. Then click the "storage" column in the virtual machine setting interface.

3. In the storage interface, click the Add CD Mirror icon in the column of "Controller: IDE".

Then click the Select Disk button.

4. Then we can choose the CD image on the Mac.

I hope these are helpful to you.
