The geographical environment of France
France has a flat terrain and the Paris basin is vast. In terms of climate, light and heat are more abundant because of the lower latitude. France is dominated by plains and hills, with high terrain in the southeast and low terrain in the northwest, facing the Atlantic Ocean. Alps and Jura Mountains in the east, Central Plateau in the south-central, Pyrenees Mountains in the southwest border, aquitaine Basin in the southwest between Central Plateau and Pyrenees Mountains, Parisian Basin in the north and Amauri Mountain in the northwest.
