The car went on and soon came to a cobblestone path in front of the door. The yard is covered with green grass and there are several big trees. On the first floor, just above the eaves, it says "Chen Jiageng's Former Residence". The car stopped, my father went down to buy tickets, and the five of us entered the former residence of the overseas Chinese rich man.
There is a yard in front of Chen Jiageng's former residence, which is about 200 square meters. I stared at the house, which was a two-story building. I walked into the room with the "First Room" sign on the first floor. The exhibition window in this house introduces the school-running process of Jimei Xue Cun. Other rooms on the first floor are also about Jimei School Village. I went to the second floor. The first room is Chen Jiageng's dining room, where there is a big round table and some old stools. In the window of another room, Chen Jiageng's used items are neatly placed. There is a tie that Mr Chen Jiageng used. It's worn out, and the velvet inside has been exposed. All these show the thrifty habits of this overseas Chinese businessman before his death.
Out of Mr. Chen Jiageng's former residence, the tricycle took us to the crocodile garden. There are 1000 crocodiles in the crocodile garden. Entering the crocodile garden, there is a big pool surrounded by a big iron cage. There is a bridge above the pool. Visitors can stand on the bridge and watch the crocodiles in the pool. In the shallow water of the pool, there are several crocodiles lying motionless, which makes people wonder whether they are real crocodiles or fake crocodiles. There are many crocodiles under the bridge. They don't move. Only through the eyes of crocodiles or their black tails can we see that these crocodiles are real. There are pieces of chicken in the crocodile garden. Tourists can buy chicken pieces and feed crocodiles with fishing rods. Crocodiles often open their mouths when tourists feed them. The tourists moved the chicken pieces to other places, but the crocodile still opened its mouth stupidly. My aunt said that they all lost their ferocity.
I also visited the crocodile garden "the treasure of the town"-a giant crocodile with a length of 5.7 meters and a weight of one ton. Through the text introduction on the wall, I know that it is gentle and obedient at ordinary times. This slightly cute crocodile has its own "villa" with an independent residence almost three times larger than other crocodiles, and other crocodiles usually live together. I looked, and it was half submerged in water. Because the water is a little dark, I can only see part of its body. This 42-year-old crocodile is observing tourists in the water. Although it is big, I don't feel terrible at all, but I think it is very kind and lovely.
