Why should we promote the effective recycling of express packaging?
According to reports, China's express delivery industry has maintained a high growth rate of about 50% for six consecutive years. China accounts for 40% of the global express delivery volume of about 70 billion pieces every year. In 20 16, China's express delivery business has been ranked first in the world, with the annual business volume of 3,654,380+0.35 billion pieces and business income exceeding 400 billion yuan.

It is reported that the China Express Green Packaging Industry Alliance initiated by five associations including China Express Association was officially unveiled recently, and 40 organizations including relevant associations, enterprises and universities actively participated. The main task of the alliance is to establish a communication and coordination platform for alliance members, organize and coordinate social resources such as express delivery enterprises, e-commerce enterprises and express packaging related industrial chains, and participate in the research, development, testing and popularization and application of express green packaging.

The rapid development of express delivery business and the "Zongzi" packaging of express delivery business have brought a huge amount of garbage. How to "slim down" and effectively recycle express packaging has become an urgent problem to be solved.

In the eyes of many people in the industry, the lack of standards in the production and use of green packaging is an important reason for the proliferation of express packaging waste. Since last year, the State Post Bureau has issued the Implementation Plan on Promoting the Packaging Work in Express Delivery Industry, initiated the drafting of national standards and business standards for green packaging materials in the postal industry, and put forward the target system and key tasks of green packaging for express delivery during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period to encourage and guide industry enterprises to use new materials and new products.
