How to eliminate video jitter with edius
When shooting with a hand-held camera (or mobile phone), the problem of video jitter often occurs. Usually we use special effects software AE to deal with it, but it consumes both memory and time. If the video is long and the computer configuration is not high, it is likely to get stuck. But now, the new version of edius7.0 introduces the stabilizer effect, which can make the video with severe jitter smooth and natural, even comparable to the effect of Stanicom.

edius7.0

Methods/steps

Open the edius software, import a dithered video material, and drag it to the video track of the timeline.

Select Stabilizer or Jelly Effect Correction in the video filter in the Special Effects panel, and drag the special effect to the video on the track.

The words "Analyzing Stability" will appear in the video playback window, indicating that the system is automatically calculating and correcting the jittery video. After a period of time, the anti-shake work is completed.

You can see the anti-shake effect in real time when playing video. If the effect is not ideal, you can double-click the stabilizer effect on the information panel and set the video stabilizer parameters in the pop-up window until you are satisfied.
