The Journey to the West is a metaphorical satire novel, centering on the dispute between Buddhism and Taoism. Yuan Zun, the grandfather of the Jade Emperor, and others all belong to a school of Taoism, such as Lai Guanyin and Luohan, all belong to a school of Buddhism, while Taoism was the mainstay in the Eastern Tang Dynasty. Tathagata hoped to spread Buddhism instead of Taoism to the Tang Dynasty. In fact, the Monkey King was created by the Tathagata. What is the evidence?
You know, the Monkey King jumped out of a stone, and the Five Elements Mountain made of stone by the Tathagata suppressed the Monkey King, which shows that the Tathagata can manipulate stones. (In fact, it should be that Tathagata used the magic of manipulating stones to imprison a young newborn monkey in a stone, and the monkey just collapsed out of the stone when clairvoyance was observing on earth. So they told the jade emperor the news. The jade emperor was very curious and took him to heaven (as an official who raised horses). In fact, this is a conspiracy of the Tathagata.
Honest people should practice penance, do good deeds and accumulate virtue, and move heaven and earth into Buddha; As long as the wicked put down their butcher knives, they can become buddhas. It's a complete nonsense theory. What's the difference between it and those who steal hooks and countries?
The closer you get to becoming a Buddha, the greater the resistance, the harder it is to stop magic, and the unshakable will can't resist at all. This is the final test for practitioners!
It is obvious that what The Journey to the West wrote is true. For example, he sent people to any country, read the classics once, and received three buckets of gold, but he didn't think it was cheap to sell it. He is a man who collects money. Moreover, the Tang Priest went to fetch the scriptures, and the Bodhisattva asked for a reward before he could fetch them for him, so he had to give his own Zijin bowl. For Buddha, man and demon are equal. Demons eat people, people eat animals, and eating demons depends on their own abilities. For example, in the animal kingdom, tigers eat sheep and sheep eat grass. In our human eyes, this is nature, isn't it? Demons eat people, and people eat animals. In the eyes of Buddha, this is the paradise of nature, Taoism and the west.
Look at the Tang Dynasty in the East. Only people can eat animals, and demons are not allowed to eat people. It is unfair to send a demon Buddha who has been wandering for nine days to guard. The paradise in the west is different. The three monsters of the lion camel country led the little monsters to eat up all the people there, with rivers of blood, mountains of bones and even a thick pile of blood hairs. The Buddha didn't say anything, but accepted the three monsters and didn't give an explanation to the people who died in the country. You have this ability. You can eat anyone in the west. This is the pure land of bliss. Buddha and man are not from the same class, so people can't understand Buddha's thoughts.
Eating people in the journey to the west is very common. Well, whether immortals or monsters come down to earth, they all want to eat people, such as Kuimu Wolf, Tian Pengyuan Shuai and General Confinement. The Monkey King talked about cannibalism many times! None of the monsters caught are accused of eating people! Are obstacles to learning classics. All right! For Buddha and fairy demon, people are just like feed, which has nothing to do with it.
Amitabha, this is the chaos of the old society in which Mr. Wu Cheng'en borrowed Buddhism, and it has nothing to do with Buddhism. And Buddha is awakening, put down the butcher's knife, become a Buddha on the spot, put down my persistence and start awakening. A homicidal maniac, if one day he feels that he is wrong and has compassion, then he wakes up and becomes a Buddha, but becoming a Buddha does not mean that he has escaped what goes around comes around. So, I will pay off my debts and get rid of them completely.
Buddha means awakening, awakening, awakening. Putting down the butcher's knife to become a Buddha means that you wake up instantly and then put down the butcher's knife. It's not that you don't have to take responsibility. On the contrary, Buddhism says what goes around comes around, and what goes around comes around has a cause. The mistakes made in the past must have corresponding consequences, but some consequences will be realized immediately, some will be delayed, and even there may be rewards in the next life. Even if Sakyamuni Buddha made a mistake, he should bear the consequences.
From the perspective of people, if you want to look at the problem from the perspective of all beings now, it will be different. It is cruel for monsters to eat people. That man still eats everything. Is disability cruel? Perhaps in the eyes of those buddhas or bodhisattvas, human beings are no different from other races. People can eat if they are stronger than other animals and plants, and monsters can eat people if they are stronger than people. If monsters kill people because they eat people, should eating a chicken or a fish kill this person? This may be what the Buddha said? All beings are equal? All right!
