Perineal breathing is one of yoga breathing control methods, which can help the body to detoxify and relieve constipation and avoid constipation toxin precipitation. It can promote the strength of pelvic floor muscles, relax and awaken pelvic floor nerves, and improve the sensitivity of rectal nerves. Because constipation patients have different degrees of pelvic floor muscle relaxation and rectal nerve paralysis, perineal breathing mainly aims at these two aspects for yoga detoxification and constipation treatment.
Yoga practice perineal breathing
1, lie on your back and relax. Feet inward, knees outward, feet opposite.
2, abdominal breathing, relax the perineum (between the perineum and the anus) when inhaling, feel the perineum naturally swell and press down, and the coccyx sticks down to the ground.
3. When exhaling, feel the slight adduction feeling naturally generated in the perineum, and the coccyx slowly rolls off the ground.
4. Practice repeatedly until you feel more and more clear.
Special attention: breathe softly and relax; The practice time is not limited, generally 5- 10 minutes is appropriate.
