The main reason for the damage of motor coil is damp, mostly due to the damage of water seal bowl or serious wear of shaft sleeve, which makes water leak into motor coil.
Use a multimeter to measure the primary and secondary windings respectively. If there is no resistance value or the resistance value becomes very small, the motor coil is damaged.
The water seal must be checked for this fault. If it is found that the water seal is damaged or the water jacket is seriously worn, it should be replaced one by one.
2. Capacitance fault The starting winding of the dehydration barrel motor is connected in series with a capacitor of about 4 microfarads to improve the starting characteristics of the motor.
After turning on the power supply of the washing machine, the motor of the dehydration barrel makes a "buzzing" sound, but it does not rotate. You should unplug the power supply, check whether the capacitor is invalid or replace it with a new one. If the motor starts to run normally, the fault lies in the capacitor.
3. Foreign matters are wound on the bottom of the outer wall of the dewatering barrel. Some users put socks, handkerchiefs and other small things above the clothes in the dehydration barrel instead of putting plastic baffles on them. When the dehydration barrel rotates at a high speed, small objects will be thrown into the bottom of the outer wall of the dehydration barrel from the gap between the top of the dehydration barrel and the end cover, and tightly wound on the shaft between the bottom and the water seal, so that the motor cannot operate.
After the winding foreign bodies are removed from the shaft, normal operation can be resumed.
4. The shaft sleeve and shaft of dehydration motor are locked. Lack of oil, humidity and rust between the dehydration motor and the shaft sleeve will cause the shaft and shaft sleeve to be locked.
When electrified, the shaft drives the shaft sleeve to form friction between the sleeve bowl and the sleeve pressing piece, so that the motor of the dewatering barrel rotates slowly or cannot be started.
The shaft locking fault needs to be removed, disassembled and repaired, and the fault can be eliminated after reassembly.
