The latest version of QQ has cancelled the option of selecting installation, and directly installed TM, Tencent TT, QQ games and whirlwind download by default! So how to delete unnecessary TM, Tencent TT or QQ games?

Open the QQ installation directory (usually C:/ProgramFiles/Tencent/QQ), double-click to run the uninst.exe program to open the QQ2004 uninstallation window, and click Next to open the selected component window. In the "Select Components to Uninstall" list in this window, we can select the programs to uninstall. If you only keep QQ, you will choose Tencent TT.

Second, disable QQ function to save memory.

1. Disable QQ panel function.

On the left side of the main interface of QQ2004, there are music center, content information panel, corporate friends panel, mobile entertainment panel, interactive space and other panels. If these functions are not very useful, you can delete the related controls in the QQ installation folder to save system resources:

2. Disable QQ advertising

QQ advertisements are stored in the "QQ/AD" folder. I recommend you to use "Tencent QQ/TM Coral Plug-in". The usage method is to unzip the file to the installation directory of QQ, and then run the "CQQCfg.exe" startup plug-in to set relevant parameters according to the prompts. After running "CoralQQ.exe", you can chat without worry.

Third, disable other functions.

1. Use standard skin and delete redundant skin.

QQ skin takes up a lot of system resources. If you want QQ to look unpretentious, then we can click Menu/Skin Change/Standard Interface in QQ panel and set QQ skin as "Standard Interface", which will save a lot of system resources occupied by QQ.

After using the default skin interface, we can delete redundant skins, which are stored in the "Newsskins" folder in the QQ directory. We can delete the entire News Skin folder.

2. Delete the QQ scene

Just delete all the scene files in the "QQ/IMScene/Scene" folder. Be careful not to check the "Accept Scene Invitation" invitation when setting QQ scenes, so the scenes sent by others will not be accepted.

3. Delete the sound file

Delete all the sound files under the QRingFiles folder in the QQ folder, and delete the whole sound folder at the same time, which also achieves the purpose of losing weight for QQ.
