Methods of Streamlining Windows7 System
As we all know, in order to speed up the operation of the system, Windows provides a virtual memory mechanism. In Windows7, this function is turned on by default, and the virtual memory file is on the system disk. For example, a machine with 2G memory has a virtual memory file size of 2G, so we can completely remove it to make room for the system disk.

Specific setting process:

Step 1: Right-click my computer on the desktop and select Properties. You will see the advanced system settings about the system interface in the upper left corner of this window.

Step 2: Select the first setting button in the newly pop-up setting window. Enter the performance settings, and select the change button at the bottom of the advanced tab to enter the virtual memory settings interface.

Step 3: First, remove the check mark from the first check box, so that we can modify the size and location of the virtual memory ourselves. Select the system partition in the disk list, select the nonpaged file, click the Settings button next to it, then select the non-system partition, select the size managed by the system below, and click the Settings button. If a dialog box appears in the middle, just select OK.
