Basic color map layer
Many times, you need to create a solid color layer to add some effects. You can use lens glare or variegated colors to create impurities, carry out non-destructive deepening or diluting operations, or any effect that requires black, white and gray solid layers.
Usually, when creating this kind of layer, it is necessary to adjust the blending mode of this kind of layer to "blending", remove the display of basic colors and leave only the layer effect. You can create layers-fill colors-add effects-and modify the blending mode.
You can also use the following method: Click the New Layer button at the bottom of the panel, hold down the Alt key, and select the blending mode from the drop-down menu. You can also see the check box below, by which you can easily create a new layer.
