How to optimize the newly installed original win8. 1 system?
Generally, there are many places that need to be optimized after installing Win8. 1 system, as follows. Of course, you can also use some optimization software, such as the very famous Rubik's Cube.

1. Turn off the homegroup, because this function will cause the hard disk and CPU to be under high load:

Close mode: win+c–Settings–Change computer settings–Homegroup–Leave.

If you don't use homegroup, you can turn off the homegroup service directly: Control Panel-Administrative Tools-Services -HomeGroupListener and HomeGroupProvider are disabled.

2.WindowsDefender scans the system comprehensively, otherwise opening the folder will get stuck:

You can then exclude trusted EXE programs. It is recommended to exclude explorer.exe (resource manager process). If you don't use the anti-virus software that comes with the system, you can also shut it down directly.

Win+X–Control Panel–Windows Defender–Settings–Implement Protection–Unchecked, Administrator–Enable Windows Defender–Unchecked.

Control Panel–Administrative Tools–Services–-windows defenderservice is disabled.

3. Make full use of indexing options to reduce the hard disk pressure:

Control Panel–Indexing Options–Select Index Items–Modify–Cancel the locations that you don't want to index. (Impact of indexing service on system performance)

If you are used to searching files with the artifact everything, you can turn off the indexing function. Control Panel-Administrative Tools-Services -windows Search has been disabled.

4. Close the disk defragmentation plan:

Using disk defragmentation well can improve disk performance. If you are used to manual defragmentation, you can close the defragmentation plan to avoid automatic defragmentation at work and affect performance.

Explorer, select Disk-Properties-Tools-Optimize and defragment drives-Optimize-Change settings-deselect Run as scheduled.

5. Set the Superfetch service:

Control panel-administrative tools-services -Superfetch- startup type-automatic (delayed startup), which can avoid frequent access to the hard disk just after starting Win8.

6. If you overwrite or upgrade the installation of Win8, you need to clean up the generated Windows.old folder to make room for drive C:

Method 1: shortcut key Win+X- command prompt-enter rdX:windows.old/s(X stands for drive letter).

Method 2 (recommended): Drive C–Right click–Properties–Disk cleaning–Select the previous Windows installation check box–Confirm cleaning.

7. Set Win8 to log in automatically, which saves the step of entering the password and makes the boot faster:

Shortcut key win+r- enter netplwiz-- cancel the option that you must enter your user name and password when using the computer-then double-click the account that needs to log in automatically-enter your password.

8. Turn off ipv6:

Some network card drivers turn on ipv6, which will cause the boot system to be unresponsive and feign death. If you are not an ipv6 user, it is recommended to turn it off, otherwise try to update the network card driver.

Network * * * Enjoy Center-Network Connection-Ethernet-Properties-Cancel ipv6.

9. Open the HybridBoot:

By default, it is started. If it is not started, you can enter the control panel-power options-select the function of the power button-change the currently unavailable settings-shutdown settings-enable quick start.

If you don't see this function, please turn on hibernation first: win+x–command prompt–enter powercfg-hon

10. Turn off performance effect:

System Properties-Advanced-Performance-Settings-Turn off the fade-in effect.
