1, be sure to write down your flag.
You can remember all kinds of phone numbers and ID numbers.
You can remember the birthdays of your family and friends;
You may remember the poems you recited at school;
You may remember where you used to eat delicious food.
Our memory is really not bad, and our national flag will naturally be remembered.
But why do I suggest that you must write down the national flag?
Because writing it down will not only help us remember our own flags, but also promote our implementation.
If the flag exists only in your own mind, you will gradually lose the desire to carry it out as time goes by. Anyway, you didn't write it down, and even if you don't implement it, nothing will happen.
I also suggest that you write it down in a slightly formal notebook. If you prefer to record through software, you can also find a software record that you can pay attention to.
This sense of ceremony will also make you pay more attention to your national flag.
2. Break down the big goal into small goals that can be executed immediately.
This is a very important step.
So, what kind of goal is the big goal? What kind of goal is a small goal?
Take losing weight as an example. I think many people will take losing weight as their New Year's banner. After all, we seldom go out these two years because of the epidemic, so we gained a lot of weight.
So for us, "losing weight" is a big goal.
If you just write down the big goal of "losing weight" and then let yourself carry it out, do you think you will?
It's hard!
Because of this big goal, I set myself many obstacles-
How many pounds should I lose to lose weight?
How much will it be reduced in a month?
What should I do every day?
……
So we need to solve these obstacles, and the most fundamental thing is to disassemble the big goals into small ones.
Big goal: lose weight, from 150 kg to 120 kg and 30 kg.
Small goal 1: lose 3 kg a month;
Small goal 2: lose fat four times a week;
Small goal 3: exercise for 40 minutes each time;
Small goal 4: start from the primary fat reduction campaign;
Small goal 5: make an evaluation every two weeks and adjust the difficulty appropriately.
You see, when we break down a big goal into small goals, we can know more clearly what we should do every day.
Therefore, many problems are not the problems of the goal itself, but the fact that we failed to make the big goal concrete enough to be implemented immediately.
Therefore, no matter what goals you set, you must disassemble them so that they can be implemented immediately.
We can combine some goal-setting methods, such as the four-quadrant rule, divide the goal into small goals and set priorities, which will make us more aware of which ones should be put in the first place, which ones need patience and persistence.
3. Give each small goal an execution scenario.
Sometimes, even if we break down big goals into small ones, it is difficult for us to achieve them. Why?
For example, in this case, your big goal is to learn English, and your small goal is to learn English for 20 minutes every day.
For us, this small goal is not difficult, we can easily accomplish it, but why hasn't it been implemented?
Just because this small goal lacks an "execution scene".
The so-called execution scene is to concretize the goal, just like the "six elements of narrative" we learned in school: time, place, people, cause, process and result. Because of the existence of these six elements, the article is more specific and the theme is more prominent.
And the small goals we set should also make the realization scene more prominent.
For example, change "learning English for 20 minutes every day" to "after getting up at 6: 30 every morning, study English for 20 minutes in the study and listen to an English listening class".
Such a small goal with an execution scenario will make it easier for us to execute it because we reduce the pressure brought by the goal itself.
4. Record your every execution.
If you don't know what you are doing every day, how can you gain anything?
We need to record every execution.
For this, we need to do two things. The first thing is to write down what you want to do today at the beginning of each day, which can be recorded in a list; The second thing is to check the things on the list at the end of each day, and write down the reasons for not implementing them after not implementing them.
Recording execution is to let us know our own execution, and more importantly, the next step.
5, appropriate reflection and adjustment.
Through their own implementation, you can probably see their own problems in the implementation process. For example, we failed to complete the goal of reading for 30 minutes, because we failed to make good use of the fragmented time, or we delayed a task too much, which led to a waste of time.
Then, we can make appropriate adjustments according to the results of our own reflection, so as to achieve our goal.
Write it at the end
In fact, we want to improve ourselves and make ourselves excellent, that is, the process from planning, to refining goals, to implementation, to recording, to reflection and adjustment, each of which is crucial and indispensable.
