Because calcium can be directly ingested in many foods, babies without complementary food can get enough calcium for their physical development only through breast milk, but vitamin D is not enough!

Before the age of 2, the main ways for babies to get vitamin D are: absorbing vitamin D from ultraviolet rays through direct sunlight. This is why old people always say that children who often bask in the sun grow taller, but vitamin D is actually at work.

But if you don't receive direct ultraviolet radiation outside every day, the intake of vitamin D is simply not enough. Ultraviolet rays are very harmful to the skin and human body, which can easily lead to sunburn, photoaging and even the accumulation of melanin to cause cancer.

Second, have a good sleep.

Children's growth hormone is secreted vigorously during sleep and reaches its peak within 1 ~ 4 hours after sleep. Generally, the peak time of growth hormone secretion is from 10 in the afternoon to 2 am, so children are advised to go to bed before 10 in the afternoon.

Children under 3 years old should also sleep for about 3 hours during the day. Frequent waking up and breastfeeding at night will interfere with the baby's sleep and inhibit the secretion of growth hormone.

Therefore, it is recommended that the baby try to break the night milk before 8 months. In addition, many mothers will ask questions about regular sleep. If the baby's time to sleep and get up is relatively fixed, forming a stable sleep cycle, the secretion time of growth hormone will be prolonged.

Third, walk more.

Many mothers must know the benefits of more exercise, but not all exercises are suitable for children. The main thing that helps the baby grow taller is longitudinal exercise. Mom and dad can take their children to jump rope, trampoline, pull-ups, horizontal bar, swimming and other stretching longitudinal sports, while negative pressure sports such as dumbbells, weightlifting and bodybuilding will suppress their height.

Of course, it is also because of the aforementioned problem of vitamin D absorbing calcium. There is also a lot of vitamin D in the sun, so taking part in outdoor sports is far more beneficial to children's growth than letting them go to the gym with adults.

Fourth, good posture.

If you want to have a beautiful height and figure when you grow up, sitting posture is also very important during your growth. If the child's sitting posture and walking posture are wrong, it will have a bad influence on the epiphysis and cause abnormal bone growth. Epiphysis mainly exists at the end of children's bones and is the basis of children's growth. In the growing period, the epiphysis is in an "open" state, and with the epiphysis being closed one after another, the child's growth process is gradually terminated. In order to avoid improper posture affecting epiphysis development, mothers should always pay attention to their children's posture and correct it.

In addition, squatting on the floor will lead to poor blood circulation in the legs and outward bending of the bones. At this time, you should sit with your legs straight. Of course, for children, the best sitting posture is to sit in a chair and let their backs rest on the back of the chair. This posture helps to keep the spine straight.
