For example, you want to enter a room, but the key is in the room. If you want to get the key, you must go first. You want to earn the first pot of gold in your life by starting a business, but you can't do it without starting a business.
You want to find time to study, improve your ability and get rid of the busy state, but you find yourself too busy to study at all. Perhaps you have realized that there are many similar phenomena around us.
You will find that the poor will get poorer and poorer, and the busy will get busier and busier. The poorer you are, the more you will make survival decisions, the less you will consider making money in the long run, and the poorer you will be. The busier you are, the less time you have to think. The less time you have to think, the busier you will be.
This is an infinite cycle, one game after another, which keeps you trapped and makes you unable to move.
After a few years in society, you will find that:
On the surface, the competition between people is housing, cars, tickets and faces, but in fact, the core competition is ability, contacts, circles and resources; The essential competition is thinking, cognition and personality.
At the end of each year, people are used to making a year-end summary. At this moment, have you ever thought about whether you have really grown up in the past year?
It is true that many people are used to putting wealth first to compete. But before summing up the changes in our wealth, let's think about these questions first:
How much has your cognition improved compared with the past year? How much has your quality circle and contacts increased? How much has your professional ability improved, or have you added new skills? How much has your mental maturity changed?
After you think about these problems, if you tell me that these factors have changed a lot compared with the past year, then I can basically conclude that your wealth must have increased a lot compared with the past, or that your wealth is about to grow rapidly.
The reason is that when you really grow up, the inner things change, and the external wealth will also change.
What should you do when you fall into one endless cycle after another? You can only break the game with a broken mind.
Only by breaking the existing situation can you see a wider world. The so-called bureau is the system. Breaking the game means breaking the existing system and entering a larger system.
Take the first example, too busy to study? If the pressure of life is not too great, you can take time to improve yourself after resigning. If life is stressful, you can also pay more attention to those who are better than yourself at work and learn from them. Work itself is learning.
I left my key in my room, but if you want to go in, you can call the lock company to open the door. You can start a business without the first bucket of gold, and you can find investment. There used to be only keys and rooms, but now there are more lock-picking companies.
Originally, there was only entrepreneurship and the first bucket of gold, but now there is more investment. Have you found that the original bureau has expanded? Enlarging the bureau is breaking the bureau.
Many people actually know exactly where they are, but often choose to turn a blind eye and leave the problem there.
You can watch some games, such as "infinite loop" game. But some games you can't see at all, and maybe only outsiders can see them.
For example, a fellow villager who developed in Beijing talked to me about her personal experience. She graduated from the college entrance examination and was admitted to Renmin University of China, where she chose human resources as her major. But a person in the same dormitory, whose grades are not worse than her, went to Huazhong University of Science and Technology and studied computer.
After graduation, her classmates went to work in Huawei, and she went to a state-owned enterprise to do HR work. After working for some years, she found that her friend had made money to buy a house in Shenzhen with an annual salary of nearly one million. And she is still hundreds of thousands a year, and buying a house in Beijing is also a big problem.
This is not to say that there is much difference between two people's abilities, but it is called thinking in the rising dimension and attacking in the falling dimension.
His classmates developed well because they chose a trending major and happened to meet the golden age of Internet development. Plus they chose the right platform and went to a promising company. This is called choice over effort.
There is a concept called "point, line and surface". This is a system-level dependency. Imagine a cuboid and see if it is like this. Points must be attached to lines, lines to faces, and faces to bodies.
The same is true of personal development. Try harder, what if the company goes bankrupt? Even if the company develops well, what if an industry is subverted? No matter how good the industry is, what about the economic downturn?
It's called ruining you. What's it to you? The world is changing at an accelerated pace. If the direction is wrong, it's no use trying again.
What is a miserable life?
A miserable life is to be a diligent person on an ordinary plane.
A worse life is that you think about the future every day, but in fact this side is sinking. The most tragic thing in life is that this dependent economy is also sinking.
In fact, many people don't get along well in the workplace, not because your professional ability is not strong, or you don't work hard enough, but because your choices are wrong.
The fundamental way to break this situation is to see clearly the hierarchical structure of points, lines and planes. You should always look at your environment. But just look at the environment?
That's not enough. You should at least do something, but this is a huge trap. In fact, many people can see this game. For example, you can see emerging new things such as new energy, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, and great health, but you still do nothing and are indifferent. Why?
I don't know if you have noticed that some people stay in a company with no future, don't resign or change careers, and stay in a loveless relationship instead of leaving. Does the other party promise to be nice to you? Not exactly.
It's that the other person caught your fear and tied you up and couldn't move.
You are afraid that you can't find a good job after quitting your job, that life is suddenly insecure, that you are not loved, that you are afraid of being laughed at by others, and so on. The more fearful people are, the more eager they are for the stability of certainty.
This is the biggest trap of this kind of game. Fear will trap a person's hands and feet, and then lose many opportunities.
In fact, everyone has fear, and it often happens, so how to deal with it?
The best thing is that when we make our own choices, we often ask ourselves a question: what is the worst result of this matter? Can I accept the worst result?
Every time you try to ask this question, you will find that the inner fear and the worst result are not an order of magnitude at all.
Fear is sometimes just fear itself. Only by facing your fears can you control your life.
There is a book called Finite and Infinite Games, which points out that there are at least two kinds of games in the world.
One can be called finite game and the other is called infinite game. The finite game aims at winning and playing within the boundary, while the infinite game aims at continuing the game and playing within the boundary.
In fact, finite game and infinite game can be transformed into each other, and the key point of this transformation lies in your cognition and your view of the boundary. There are at least two kinds of boundaries, one is called time boundary and the other is called space boundary.
So looking back, the boundary of a game determines the size of the game. The game of "infinite loop" corresponds to the time boundary, while the game that many people can't find corresponds to the space boundary. The essence of these two kinds of boundaries is cognitive boundary. Both of these games are cognitive games in essence.
So the difference between experts and ordinary people is that experts can see the development of things, find the relationship between the past, the present and the future, understand the real laws behind things, and see the system level behind things.
So experts can see bigger games. If you are interested, you can read an article I wrote before, entitled "Cognitive poverty is a person's greatest poverty"
People will encounter all kinds of games in this life, some of which can be found by themselves, but with your games, you may not be able to see them when you are in them.
So be prepared to break the game for life. Then how to break the game? There are two ways, one is called reform and the other is called revolution.
What is reform? Reform is to access a new chain and step by step.
When you find yourself caught in a negative cycle, you should try to break it. If you feel that you are not busy with your work and can't make much money, you can take time out to learn some new skills or take a valuable certificate to prepare for job-hopping.
The practice of reform is relatively mild, because the change is not so great, and it is a gradual process, but it is extremely difficult to do it, because the initial stage of reform is often counterintuitive, and there are great traps in it.
Why is it anti-conscious? Because at first, it will only make things worse and worse. You are already very busy, and you will spend more time studying, then you will be busier.
Learning is a long-term thing to see the effect, so the initial reform is getting worse and worse, so many people simply give up, because they can't see the effect, and the result is to fall into the cycle of death again.
Running to lose weight is such a logic. I wanted to lose weight and made a running plan, but after running for a few days, I found that it had no effect at all, and then I stopped running. The same is true of work and study. You may not see the wealth effect of learning for a short time, so you are likely to give up and continue to enter an infinite loop.
This is the biggest trap of reform, and the time period is too short.
You must understand the concept of long period. Many short-term feelings and long-term interests often run counter to each other, but you are too sensitive to short-term feelings to insist.
After talking about reform, let's talk about revolution.
What is a revolution? Revolution means stepping on the brakes, that is, stopping in an infinite cycle directly.
For example, if you are busy for a long time, quit your job and spend time studying to improve your ability. But many people are afraid to do so, because there is so much social pressure now, and there are too many uncertainties in this practice. What if it doesn't work? So it takes a lot of courage to make this choice.
Each of us is like a high-speed computer. I have been asked to run various programs since I was a child, and I can't stop working in primary schools, high schools and universities.
So if one day you stop to write your own program, all the computers around you are still running at high speed, and even laugh at why you don't move, and then leave you far behind.
So sometimes making certain choices, even if you are firm inside, will still be very painful.
Just like when I started my business in college, because I didn't know anything at that time, the only advantage was that I was the monitor of the school and the head of the community.
In addition, I like to socialize, so the resources of the school are not bad, and I also like to toss. So later, I started a business with others, doing things about market and management every day, talking about customers, cooperation, management team and then managing the later stage of the company.
However, due to the epidemic, the offline business was greatly affected, and some entities I invested in before were also affected. I also realized the importance of online development.
But at first, I chose to study online and do it offline. The big reason is also that I am afraid to completely abandon the offline, in case I can't do it online. This is actually the practice of reform.
However, after working for a period of time, I found that the offline epidemic was repeated, and it was difficult to make great progress under the point, line and surface I mentioned above.
More importantly, I can't devote myself to online research. After working for a while, I gave up without results. This is the reform trap mentioned above.
Until later, after careful consideration, I chose to directly close the offline baby swimming pool and other entities, stop the loss in time, and entrust the offline business and company management of other companies to others. I began to devote myself to online research.
At first, I was really miserable. I used to work in marketing and management. I run around and meet all kinds of people. Now I have to sit in a room every day, learning to think alone, writing a lot, and my hair is burning. At first, I was fidgeting.
In addition, it is a question of thinking mode. I used to be in marketing and management, and I didn't pay much attention to details. Personally, I was not a perfectionist. But after I switched from marketing to making products, I must pursue perfectionism in order to polish the products well.
I often change a thing n times, and at most I change it more than 50 times. I admire myself a little when I change it to midnight. It was really painful at first, but later I enjoyed the process.
There is a saying that growing up is painful, and not growing up is more painful.
Take myself for example, if I live forever in the praise of others: "Hey, look, you bought a Mercedes-Benz before you graduated from college, made millions, and now you are excellent at working in several companies", all kinds of things. ...
And relying on my previous ability model and resource experience to stand still, then I may stand still, have no new development, and may be surpassed by people who are not as good as me before.
So is the company. If the company has been indulging in the dividend period of a certain business market by relying on team and market ability in the past, the dividend period of this industry and business market will disappear sooner or later. If we don't develop new products and study new development ideas, the company is likely to stagnate or even close down.
Just like learning growth circle thinking, many of us are used to the comfort zone of life. Sometimes I am anxious and want to change, but change comes at a price. Many people will be afraid and continue to return to the comfort zone of life.
If you can't break through the circle of fear, you can't enter the circle of learning and growth, you can't move towards new success, and you can only continue to fall into an infinite loop.
As I said above, when you want to change and are afraid of change, think more about what will happen if you don't change. If you change, can you accept the worst result?
If you understand these two questions, then do it. What you want is the joy of success after overcoming fear.
Especially for young people, they are still young and have a long life. If they find themselves trapped in the game at the moment, they should bravely break it. Even if most things are not done well, the cost is completely affordable and acceptable.
You are still young, so hit the wall with the least cost while you still have enthusiasm and courage. Don't always hesitate, be swayed by considerations of gain and loss, miss countless opportunities, and trap yourself in an endless loop forever until you become a nuisance in the future.
When I was a child, I watched Journey to the West. Many of us wanted to have the same skills as the Monkey King and the same happiness as Zhu Bajie. In middle age, many people find that they have neither the skill of Wukong nor the happiness of Bajie, but they live the same life as Friar Sand. I used to go to the theatre, but now I am an actor there.
What I am most afraid of is that many people have been doing nothing all their lives, and finally they comfort themselves that they are ordinary and valuable.
I have met many excellent people, and they are all different. Some people choose to drop out of school to start a business and study later because they can't balance their studies and start a business well.
Some people want to start a business, do it, fail to start a business, go back to the postgraduate entrance examination and get into a good school; Some jobs are boring after a few years, so they just quit and concentrate on graduate school. ...
In fact, for me, the experience along the way is not a process of constant breaking. If you are interested, you can read an article I wrote about personal growth and entrepreneurial experience.
In this life, you will find that everyone's greatest enemy is not others, but yourself. Defeating the opponent is only the winner on the field, and defeating yourself is the fate of the strong.
Laziness is security, security is laziness, laziness is resentment, and resentment is poverty; If you are poor, you will change, and if you change, you will be able to live, which is generally expensive.
Many people repeat it day after day, but fantasize about a different future. It's simply an idiotic dream.
I feel that the article is very rewarding, and don't forget to like, pay attention to and forward it.
