Consultation methods for applying for subsidies

The social insurance subsidy for enterprises during maternity leave refers to the social insurance subsidy for enterprises whose female employees gave birth to two or three children after February 10 (including February 10) in 2022 and paid social insurance premiums during maternity leave. Individual industrial and commercial households, private non-enterprise units, social organizations and other insured units (excluding government agencies and institutions) shall be insured according to the unit. The standard and duration of subsidy are: during the maternity leave for giving birth to two children, 50% of the basic old-age insurance, basic medical insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance and maternity insurance actually paid by the employer for female employees are subsidized; Three children are subsidized by 80%. The month of subsidy is calculated from the month of the first day of giving birth to two or three children, and the subsidy is 6 months.

According to the regulations, qualified employers should fill in the application roster of enterprise social insurance subsidies during maternity leave, and provide the medical certificate of the baby's birth, and go to the labor and employment management department of the tax-paying area for handling. Non-tax-paying units can go to the district labor and employment management department where the unit is registered, or they can go through the online service hall of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security (/index). Eligible employers can apply for enterprise social insurance subsidies during maternity leave from the month following the birth of two or three children by female employees.

However, if a female employee changes her unit during maternity leave, she will be given social insurance subsidies during maternity leave according to the social insurance premiums paid by different units. If a female employee pays social insurance premiums during maternity leave, the employer may apply after paying social insurance premiums.
