Is New Zealand flax cold-resistant?
Not hardy. New Zealand flax is a perennial evergreen herb with sword-shaped leaves and sharp tips. It has two varieties: red and green. Its living habits like warm sunshine, and it is suitable for growing in deep sandy loam rich in humus. Not cold-tolerant, the suitable growth temperature is 15 ~ 25℃, and the overwintering temperature is 8 ~ 10℃. If it is in a cold environment, it will cause frostbite of flax plants in New Zealand.
