1. To fish silver carp in the reservoir, you should use a long throwing rod, because silver carp are timid by nature, and there are generally no silver carp on the shore.
2. Use floating fishing. Silver carp is a pelagic fish, which generally eats in the range of 1 m above or below the water surface. Generally, the depth of floating fishing is 70-80 cm below the water surface.
3. Silver carp likes sour food after fermentation. In the case of inexperience, you can buy commercial bait, use stinky tofu soup or add a proper amount of stinky tofu when mixing bait, or buy a bag of garlic powder in the fishing gear shop. When mixing bait, pay attention to the fact that it is not easy to have too much water, and the mixed bait should be kneaded into a ball by hand. Note: Shake the dry powder well before adding the stinky tofu soup, and then add the stinky tofu soup. Of course, if there is no stinky tofu soup and garlic powder as additives, you can also directly use the commercial bait, which also contains the ingredients of the above additives, but the taste is slightly weak and the effect is slightly worse.
4. Knead the prepared bait tightly with the ready-made plastic basket combination hook, put it into the plastic basket for compaction, and fasten the plastic basket. The hooks around the basket hang naturally.
5. Composition of fishing group: First, insert a lead pendant that can slide freely on the main line, and the weight of the lead pendant is 60- 100g. Then fix the float at the front end of the main line 80 cm, and the buoyancy of the float is greater than the sum of the weights of the bait, the hook and the plastic basket. So that the float will float on the water. Finally, tie a plastic basket at the front end of the main line. When the plastic basket filled with bait is placed in the center of the reservoir, it floats on the water surface, the plastic basket and fish hook naturally hang 80 cm underwater, and the bait lead falls naturally to the bottom of the water. Then fix the pole and tighten the main line.
6. For silver carp fishing, generally, 3-5 identical poles are cast in the same area with equal distance and 3-5 meters apart. Of course, you can watch it after you throw the first shot. If waves are found in the fishing area, it means that the silver carp has entered the fishing area, and then the other poles are thrown separately. Because silver carp usually come in groups, fishing will also be harvested one after another.
7. When a float is found to be rotating or moving, it is that the fish is hooked. To pull, and then let the fish out of the fishing position as soon as possible, so as not to affect other fish.
8. Because silver carp hooks are usually 4-5 hooks in a group, it is more troublesome to take the hooks. To this end, more sets should be prepared. If there are five poles, it is best to prepare 10 sets of hooks. After you catch a fish, don't be too busy picking the hook. After putting the fish in a safe place, remove the shackle connecting the main line and throw it out with another set of baited hooks. Then take the time to pick the hook and collect the fish. It will be busy anyway.
