How to simplify the windows file in the original install.wim to minimize the space occupied by the installation?
Step one:

Open the ISO file of Vista or Win7 with WinRAR, then open the "sources" folder and extract the "install.wim" file. ?

Step two:

Run it step by step, select Delete Mirror in Mirror, and then open the wim file that has just been decompressed.

Step 3:

Generally, only the flagship version or professional version is installed in Win7, and the unused version can be deleted, which will greatly reduce the size of wim files. Only one version can be deleted at a time.

After the point is confirmed, a prompt box will appear. Ask if you want to continue deleting. Click Yes to continue.

Step 4:

When only one version is deleted, a dialog box will pop up, prompting the storage location of the new file. After selecting the file location, click OK.

Step five:

Start making images.

Step 6:

After making, a window will open, which is the wim file just made. Open it step by step again and select "Map Mirror to Disk".

Select the wim you just made.

Step 7:

Select the mapping directory. The mapping process is a bit like a virtual CD-ROM drive, that is, the wim file is virtualized into a partition of the hard disk and modified in it.

It is actually a change to wim.

Step 8:

The mapped directory and a small window will pop up. Minimize the window first.

The contents of this pop-up directory are similar to the newly installed system directory, and files can be deleted/added. For example, you can delete the sample picture. It depends on your familiarity with system files.

You can also delete your own software and games. For example, DVDMaker, mine clearance. Not listed below.

Step 9:

Delete the unused files in it.

Step 10:

Open the one you just minimized and select "Save changes to the image file and uninstall it". Then click Perform Storage Unloading.

Step 11:

After waiting for a few seconds, a dialog box will pop up. Select "Yes". Then enter the save directory and click "OK".

Step 12:

Wait for the final version to complete.

Step 13:

Open Ultra ISO and open the original operating system image file. Delete install.wim and ei.cfg in the "sources" directory, and then

Add the wim you just made.

Step 14:

File-Save As-Save, and you're done!

Step 15:

Install with the prepared ISO. The installation method is arbitrary.
