Walking in the desert, there is always an experience in life that makes you grow up instantly.
Desert? Hiking? Are you kidding? Are you really going? The front is unknown and I am at a loss. Even if my friends have been there, I have always been uneasy! After all, this time with my son!

Look, my promise is coming true.

I remember 20 18 years, I was in the Sahara desert. At that time, I sat on a camel to watch the sunset, accompanied by African drums, drank coffee and milk tea to enjoy the moon, got up in the morning to load sand to watch the sunrise, and took an off-road vehicle after taking a shower. There is no challenge at all, only endless beauty and surprise.

The above is the review link of Sahara Desert.

This time, there are endless beautiful scenery and surprises, and this surprise is not a surprise. For the first time, we added many lives:

It was the first time to live in a tent outdoors, or for two consecutive nights; For the first time, the length of sand dunes was measured with footsteps; I saw wild lizards for the first time in the wild. ...

This time, we have a lot of small wealth, one after another:

Sunny and cloudy days, rain and strong winds, heat and cold, starry sky and bright moon, bonfires and fireworks ... all kinds of "anecdotes" were encountered by us at one time. You're here, so you're interpreted?

Come on, hiking in the desert is the kind of experience that grows up instantly in life.

Preparation before departure: (Necessary preparation must be collected)

Sun protection-sunscreen, goggles, magic headscarf (it is best to prepare more, two for each person), fisherman's hat (it is best to have a rope and a piece of cloth to protect your neck).

Wear leather clothes and coats (for day and night), quick-drying pants and coats (for morning and evening), hiking socks (I benefited a lot this time, Decathlon sells them. ), walking shoes (must be thick soles), half-fingered gloves.

Daily necessities-thermos cup (you can have whatever you want with a cup of warm water), binoculars, headlights, trekking poles (you don't have to buy them if you want to lock them out, parents and cats provide them), and a comfortable backpack of about 20 liters.

I brought the above by myself. Small backpack, the children, provided a "parent-child cat" with sand-proof shoe covers. This tent can sleep two people. The sleeping bag is new and can be taken home directly after use.

There are suitcases in the camp, and there are supply trucks not far behind when hiking, so you can get water at any time, so don't worry about running out of water. This is beyond my expectation. This arrangement is particularly practical and warm.

The meeting place is generally Yinchuan Railway Station, which is very convenient for planes and trains. There is only one railway station in Yinchuan, and the high-speed rail and Pukuai are all together. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from the airport to the railway station, and Ctrip has more than 100 cars.

Budget:

The same price, plus round-trip air tickets, etc. We estimate that the cost is about twelve thousand for four days and three nights.

When everything is ready, let's start with a grateful heart and always believe that what we meet is the most beautiful.

The desert we are going hiking in is Tengger Desert, the fourth largest desert in China. It is located in the southwest of Alashan Zuo Qi in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the central border of Gansu Province, with the Great Wall in the south, Helan Mountain in the east and Laishan Mountain in Ya Bu in the west. There are sand dunes, lakes and grass beaches here. It is not the vast desert in our impression, but a sacred place full of vitality and endowed with the name of "God".

The sand here is delicate and soft, just like baby's skin. Touching it has an impulse not to let go. So a group of children always take a break and continue to dig sand.

What kind of experience can dredging bring? The first step to get water in the desert is to dig a bunker, which is also one of the research topics. Children learn naturally and make water intake equipment with teachers. Learn a simple and effective field survival skill, and perfectly interpret the vivid and interesting nature education. There is no rigid preaching, only children operate and demonstrate together. Children say this kind of study makes them want to fly.

There are many places worth exploring in the desert. Plants in the desert are said to be good friends. They are holding hands in a very deep place, and their hearts are connected. Whoever is thirsty and hungry, help each other, support each other and stand firm in the vast desert together. Is it particularly touching to hear this story? What do you think? Let's talk about it in the comments section.

In the desert in the afternoon, the sunshine and mood are equally brilliant. I was walking on the soft sand dunes with one foot deep and one foot shallow, when I suddenly caught a glimpse of a running lizard, whizzing through the vegetation. The screams started, the children were excited, and of course the parents were also excited. As a result, the whole team was disrupted, scrambling to catch lizards, each using 18 kinds of martial arts, and it is said that they all gained something. This is one of our scientific research projects. Put the lizard in the observation box, look at its color, texture and structure, find its name and habits, chat with it and feed it.

Food? What does it eat? Is it a bug? Shall we catch some for them? What do bugs eat? Cucumber, tomato or steamed bread? So, we staged another "snail eating contest".

The next morning, I really caught some desert beetles. It seems that bugs are still easy to bite. Feed them to lizards. The lizard we see is the sand lizard, which has a series of living habits suitable for desert, semi-desert and grassland life. It doesn't need drinking water, but directly gets the water it needs for physiology from predatory beetles. It has stripes on its tail. My son says it looks like a zebra crossing. After observing it for a while, we put it back in the desert. Look at its distant back and say goodbye to it, because they belong here.

And we are passers-by here, to challenge ourselves, explore nature, and experience the fun of sliding and rolling sand. A skateboard slipped off the track, and a group of adults guarded the happy moments of a group of children. By the way, they found their former teenagers together, played together, and competed with each other crazily, holding back and letting go of themselves.

When we got carried away, Garfield called us and said at the top of his lungs, "We are going to climb the big sand dunes after a break, and we will challenge at least five today."

What should come will always come. Aren't we just here for hiking? Pat the sand, leg press, reach out and bend over. Early stretching is very important, and both adults and children need it.

Ready to go, moving towards the goal, under the leadership of Garfield, the front of the team is basically children, not falling behind, not shouting tired, not giving up. Their endurance and physical strength are simply unimaginable. Many parents are surprised to find that their children have such a powerful side that they have no right to speak in a life they have never experienced. What I saw this time was what I saw with my own eyes, not what others said, which convinced parents that our children are all understandable potential stocks. At the end of the camp, parents scrambled to speak after fear. They all wanted to express this scene to their children, and we grew up with them. Because I saw it, and I got it. Because I know, I cherish.

When it comes to cherishing, it is necessary to talk about food. There are two breakfasts and dinners during the trip. One Chinese meal is eaten in the camp canteen, and the others are all road meals, one for each person, and they are eaten on the back.

Garfield has always stressed that our meals are self-help, we can eat as much as we want, and we can eat as many times as we want, so we don't waste CDs. The herdsmen entertained us with grassland sheep and fruits and vegetables brought in by hard work. They just expect us not to waste a grain of rice and a mouthful of food, otherwise, they are really distressed.

Similarly, we have always called on the CD to take action. Have we really implemented it in our lives? Through this example, children see that their parents set an example. They all eat clean food. They only took the food they had eaten at a time. They learned this message again, cherish food and water, and cherish everything we have.

Yes, although there are some lakes in the desert, they are not fresh water. Water shortage and drought are still the norm here. I can't take a shower on this trip. Going to the toilet is basically in the wild. You can hardly brush your teeth in the morning, and washing your face is also a luxury. Seriously, you can barely accept it for two or three days. If it is long-term, it will definitely collapse.

Bitterness is certain, and so is discomfort, but we can find pleasure in suffering. Aren't there bonfires and fireworks? Remember when I said, let's go, I believe everything we met is beautiful-yes, we met other teams and came to the camp. They brought beef and fireworks, and a gentleman insisted on putting on his thick coat for me. By moonlight, I saw the word "police" written on that coat.

The son asked, "Mom, why did he give you a coat?" I said, "He thinks I'm cold, and he's afraid I'll freeze. He is really a good man. " The son said, "Mom, when I grow up, I want to be such a good person." I said, "Son, you are a good man now. You are very warm and considerate. Thank you. "

A fragment, a scene, a dialogue. Let my mind keep flashing: your world is your walking range. Your life is made up of people and things you meet.

Perhaps this is my initial intention to devote all my time and energy to walking with my son. Not much, just a little experience. It is because of my constant experiences and encounters that I gradually learned the judgment of distinguishing right from wrong, the action of solving problems, and the affinity of unity and cooperation.

Yes, the tent for sleeping at night needs us to build it together, and everything needs to be done by division of labor. We study together, practice together, and take care of every detail, the cooperation and assembly of the inner tent and the outer tent, and the hook of nails and ropes. We complete each step correctly, and a warm and strong tent is completed. It can resist the storm and let us sleep in the desert.

Is it still raining in the desert? Yes, we have. Before going to bed, the wind is blowing, which is particularly scary. In the tent, we use reading to dispel our fears. The first time I went camping in the wild, the temperature was extremely low. That kind of inexplicable tension arises spontaneously. I wonder if I should ask the teacher if I can sleep outdoors in this weather. The dripping rain came in, getting louder and louder. God, it's raining in the desert.

Because of the wind and rain, the clouds above us drifted away. Teacher Kitty said that there were no clouds in Wan Li the next night, which was the best weather for stargazing. We could definitely see the Chu Galaxy.

It turns out that there are always some beautiful things that have nothing to do with time, and there are always some unforgettable memories. The appearance of wild stars is the most intoxicating gesture. Try it if you don't believe me.

You may not know how much we have gained by watching the stars this time. Not to mention this level of knowledge, even the galaxy belt plagued by dreams has been long enough. To tell you quietly, we also observed the International Space Station orbiting the earth, that is, the star that has been moving. At first, I thought it was an airplane, but I didn't blink. I thought it was a meteor, but it didn't burn away, but moved in parallel and at a constant speed. Our eyes followed it until it turned into the night sky.

Jupiter, Mars, the Big Dipper, Polaris, Andromeda, Cancer, Ursa Major and Scorpio, all of which are dense and shining. Let you see enough at a time, no matter the wind blows and the sand blows, the cold will attack people, and you will never give up lying on the sand dunes, and your eyes will keep following Teacher Cat's explanation and making up various constellations.

Just then, the moon quietly exposed a head at the end of the sand dune. It rose slowly like sunrise, but it was bright, bright and cold. We held our breath and waited for it to jump out, only to find it standing on the edge of a sand dune like a shy girl, so we waited and waited until it left unconsciously. What a magical "moon rising in the desert", it gave me a surprise, I had expectations, and I lost it inadvertently, which was very sad. So I understand that it is just right, neither too early nor too late. Fortunately, meeting it was just a good gift for my lifetime.

When we got home, we went through the existing books about stars at home again and found those stars engraved in our minds, one by one. My son and I enjoy this process and enjoy this just right moment.

The temperature difference between day and night in the desert is great, and it will reach below zero the next night. Make an appointment to watch the sunrise at four in the morning on the third day. There are more than 30 people in our team, and none of them come out to challenge. Seriously, I just won't come out. It's too cold. We are not afraid to miss it, because if we miss it, we will have a little regret, because regret will have a reason to come again.

According to teachers, our desert control work in China is particularly effective. A few years ago, it was still a sand dune. Now, every little friend has planted a tree seedling on the side. Of course, we should also protect it together and plant a vegetation with our own name. Let's grow together.

On the way, we walked in the desert for three days and two nights and walked15km. That doesn't sound like much. Every day's trip is within our capabilities. I have been in the "study circle", very tired but I can persist. The degree of hardship is also acceptable. I am especially grateful for the reasonable arrangement of parent-child cats, just as they advocate safety, love and interests. It is because of their specialty that I trust myself and my children to them, take us to complete the challenges that we can't complete, and meet the parent-child cat at this impartial node, which is just right.
