Guang 'an has a long history, and the recorded history of civilization can be traced back to more than 3,000 years ago. Since the second year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty (969), the Guang 'an Army has been established, which means "Guang 'an Collection". Later dynasties set up prefectures and counties here, and the name of "Guang 'an" has been passed down to this day.

1904 On August 22nd, Deng Xiaoping was born in Paifang Village, Xiexing Town, Guang 'an, where he spent his childhood and adolescence. 16 years old, traveled across the ocean to France to work and study, embarked on the revolutionary road, experienced a magnificent life and devoted his life to the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
