Music Overview of the Cuckoo Waltz
Dance of Rhododendron has the style of Norwegian folk dance music in tune and rhythm. The whole song adopts a three-degree waltz genre, C major, medium board. It consists of three small waltzes. The third melody is smooth and coherent, full of singing sense. The melody is more novel because of a series of changing semitones. This piece of music is in sharp contrast with the first two lively melodies, and the unique timbre of the accordion makes the music charming. After imitating the cuckoo's song, the clarinet repeats the third lyric melody again, and finally the first music reappears and ends on the cuckoo's song, echoing the beginning of the music. Du Fu's Waltz is deeply loved by people for its beautiful tunes and vivid musical images.
