The ancient city courtyard in Linfen, Shanxi Province was built on the site of the ancient city and divided into two gardens. The West Garden is adjacent to the city wall in the east and Binhe Road in the west, covering an area of 160 mu. Completed in 2065, 438+00. It has ancient bronze city, celebrity square, Yuan Dynasty stage and other landscapes, and planted 150 kinds of trees, which has unique cultural and ecological scenery. The East Garden is built around the northwest city wall, covering an area of 180 mu. In 20 12, the construction of the northern district with emphasis on the restoration of city walls and the relocation and protection of residential buildings was completed. The thousand-year-old city and the hundred-year-old houses are integrated into one, and the historical features are perfectly reproduced. The large-scale inspiring sculpture is surrounded by more than 300 stone lions, showing the charm of folk culture.

There are three exhibition halls of ancient city culture, folk culture and academy culture in the three dwellings. By displaying the remains of the ancient city, ancient daily necessities, production, transportation and processing tools, it is of profound educational significance to show and vividly reproduce the historical evolution, changes, restoration and protection of Linfen ancient city, to promote and protect folk culture, to understand the historical changes of the ancient city, to inherit the ancient city culture and to raise the awareness of cultural relics protection.

Celebrity Wall is 59 meters long and 2.75 meters high. It carved portraits of 50 historical celebrities in Linfen with granite, including Yao, the ancestor of Wendi, the overlord in the Spring and Autumn Period, and Wei Qing, the hero of great men. It is an important cultural landscape of the ancient city park.
