What are the Wa folk customs?
Wa folk customs are: Wa men wear collarless shirts with short and bulky trousers, and their heads are wrapped in red or black cloth; Wa women wear black collarless shirts with straight skirts, silver hoops or bamboo hoops on their heads, silver collars and strings of beads as badges, several rattan rings around their waists and necks, and they also like to wear many silver bracelets and large ones.

Wa nationality, one of the ethnic minorities in China and Myanmar, whose national language is Wa language, belongs to the German branch of the Mon-Khmer language family of South Asian language family, and has no common language. People use objects and woodcuts to record, count or transmit information.

Wa people mainly live in Cangyuan, Ximeng, Menglian, Gengma, Lancang, Shuangjiang, Zhenkang, Yongde and other counties in southwest Yunnan Province of China, as well as Wa and Shan States in Myanmar. There are also some Wa people scattered in Baoshan, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Kunming and Dehong Autonomous Prefecture in China.
