Is it okay to wipe down jackets with alcohol?
Of course. Especially when soap stains appear.

Down jackets are difficult to clean, and there is a small doorway to help remove small dirt marks. For places that are easy to get dirty, such as collars, cuffs and hems, you can dip cotton balls in industrial alcohol to clean them at any time. When washing with water, add neutral detergent or soap powder into warm water at 20℃ ~ 30℃ and soak the down jacket for 5 ~ 10 minutes. Don't rub the washboard when washing to prevent duck down from accumulating. Just wash it gently with a soft brush, and then use clean water after the stains are washed off. Don't wring it out after washing, but squeeze the water out with a dry towel. Shake the clothes and spread them out. Hang the down jacket in the shade with a hanger to dry, and don't expose it to the sun. When collecting, fold the down jacket flat and put it in the suitcase. Because the down jacket will not be eaten by insects, there is no need to put mothballs in the suitcase.
