(1) About Shuyang Spring

Shuyangquan is also known as Solanum lyratum Thunb and Solanum lyratum Thunb. Generally, it belongs to the category of clearing away heat and toxic materials, promoting diuresis and expelling wind and dampness. Some of them belong to the category of diuretics, or belong to the category of drugs for dispelling wind and dampness.

Bone-seeking wind, also known as Solanum lyratum, has the same name and surname, which is easy to be confused. Therefore, it is not appropriate to use Solanum lyratum Thunb as the square name of Shuyangquan.

Compendium of Materia Medica records that Shu Yangquan can treat lacquer sores. It may be related to the anti-allergic effect of solanine. Because there are few Chinese medicines for treating lacquer sores, this is recorded for reference.
