1, use Photoshop CS3 (other versions are similar) to open the original picture, and observe the whole photo first. Because most of our ordinary life photos come from low-end digital cameras, the black-and-white field can't be well positioned, so the photos are often as gloomy as this one.
2, first copy a layer of background (always a good habit), perform: filter sharpening USM sharpening, the value depends on the photo size.
3. Create a hierarchy adjustment layer. The numerical value has no reference value and is determined according to the picture. The number of highlights on the right, the number of dark tones on the left, and the midtones. Sometimes exaggerated PS techniques can be adjusted strangely, depending on the needs of expression. Here, we only need to use this color scale to increase the brightness of the face. Pull the rightmost adjustment bar until the face begins to overflow with highlights (too bright). The left and middle ones don't need to be moved, and then press OK.
The key step is to create a color balance adjustment layer, which will make the photo appear cyan as a whole and set off the face.
5. In order to enhance the contrast, we create a new black and white adjustment layer, select the preset "high contrast red filter" and confirm. (Friends who used Photoshop before CS3 can use the channel mixer, just click "Monochrome")
6. The photos at the moment look strange. Don't worry. Let's change the blending mode to "soft light" and reduce the opacity to 70%. (as the case may be)
7. At this time, the photo is beautiful, but it looks pale, so we added a hue/saturation adjustment layer with saturation of+15.
8. Finally, add a box and text, and you're done! Photo studio photos are as simple as that.
That's all for the PS character photo processing tutorial.
