Formal dresses are usually monochrome and dark. Most of them are blue, gray and navy blue, and some are brown and black. A black suit is usually worn as a dress. Suits with hazy transition colors are generally not suitable for formal wear. Leisure suit can be monochrome or multicolor, and it can also be stripes, grids or irregular and personalized patterns.
Traditionally, wearing a suit on weekdays should follow the "three-color principle", that is, the whole body color should not exceed three colors. Generally, it is safest to choose dark suits, white shirts and black shoes and socks.
(2) Version
The style of a suit is also called the style of a suit. There are mainly four styles: European, British, American and Japanese, with different overall styles and details.
1 European suit:? The coat is inverted trapezoid. Most of them are double-row two-button or double-row six-button, with low button position and wide collar, emphasizing shoulder swing. Shoulder pads and armholes are high, and the waist is medium. You can't split the back swing.
2 British suit: pay attention to natural fit, and do not deliberately emphasize shoulder width. Most of them are single-breasted, V-neck and narrow. The waist is slightly narrowed, the shoulder pads are thin, and the back swing is split on both sides.
American suit: square in appearance, loose and comfortable, slightly shorter than European suit. The shoulders are not padded, the collar is a loose and moderate "V" shape, the waist is wide, the middle seam is placed at the back, and most of them are single-breasted
④ Japanese-style suit: The top is in the shape of "H", and the shoulders and waist are not overemphasized. Shoulder pads are not high, the collar is short and narrow, but it is divided into waist and cannot be split at the back. Most of them are single-breasted
The above four types of suits have different styles: European style is free and easy, British style is well tailored, American style is generous and elegant, and Japanese style is dignified. But comparatively speaking, Japanese suits and British suits are more suitable for men in China.
(3) Work
Whether a suit is well made directly affects its quality and grade. When choosing a suit, you should carefully check the following six aspects: whether the lining is exposed, whether the pockets are symmetrical, whether the buttons are sewn firmly, whether the surface is blistered, whether the stitches are uniform and whether the appearance is flat.
