The Criminal Law Amendment (IX) stipulates that one article shall be added after Article 284 of the Criminal Law as one of Article 284: "Whoever cheats in the national examinations prescribed by law shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention, and shall also or only be fined; If the circumstances are serious, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years and fined. " Whoever provides cheating equipment or other assistance for others to commit the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph. "Whoever illegally sells or provides others with the test questions and answers specified in the first paragraph for the purpose of cheating in the exam shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph." Those who replace others or let others take the examinations prescribed in the first paragraph instead of themselves shall be sentenced to criminal detention or public surveillance and shall also or only be fined. "It can be seen that this year is the first college entrance examination after the entry into force of the Criminal Law Amendment IX. According to the current effective laws and regulations, cheating in the college entrance examination can be sentenced to a maximum of seven years in prison. National education examination is an important way for the country to select talents, which is related to social fairness and justice, the construction of credit system and the vital interests of every candidate.
