2. What is the reason for the pain at the joint of thigh root and hip?
(1) Synovitis, due to fatigue, cold and other factors, causes aseptic inflammation of the synovium of the hip joint, and the secretion of effusion increases. The patients show clinical manifestations of pain and limited activity. A four-character examination (+) was done, and MRI showed that the intra-articular effusion increased obviously, and conservative treatment such as physical therapy, hot compress and medicine was given.
(2) Femoral head necrosis. Patients who ask about medical history often have a long-term history of taking hormones or drinking heavily, or a history of hip fractures and injuries. Femoral head is often ischemic and necrotic, which leads to pain at the root of thigh and the whole joint. We need MRI and CT to confirm the diagnosis.
(3) Lumbar disc herniation can also cause symptoms of thigh root and joint pain.
