What qualifications do firefighters need?
Firefighters need a high school education or above.

Requirements for applying for firefighters:

1, love the fire fighting profession, abide by the law and have dedication;

2. Young men 18 years old to 45 years old, of which the first employment age is not more than 28 years old;

3. Meet the requirements of firefighters' physical examination standards and physical fitness tests;

4. Have a junior high school education or above.

The national physical examination standards for firefighters mainly include physical examination, physiological function examination, psychological test, medical history and disability examination.

1. Physical examination: This examination needs to test the height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, vision and hearing of firefighters. Generally speaking, the height is not less than 165 cm and the weight is not less than 45 kg. Waist circumference less than 90 cm, blood pressure between 140/90-90/60; Hyperopia and myopia are 0.8 or 1.0, and the color vision is normal; Hearing is a standard FM sound up to 25 decibels.

2. Physiological function examination: the examination will detect the incubation period, respiratory function, reflex, heart, lung, liver, spleen, arrhythmia and so on. And the incubation period should be less than 6 seconds; Respiratory function examination is less than 4.8 seconds; Normal reflex; Normal auscultation of the heart; Liver palpation was normal; Renal palpation was normal; Arrhythmia is less than 3 seconds.

3. Psychological test: Psychological test is a very important part of the physical examination standard for firefighters' recruitment, which mainly covers safety knowledge, work and technical ability, performance and vision, emergency response and other contents, and is used to evaluate the psychological quality of firefighters.

4. Examination of medical history and disability: Examination requires examination of the medical history and disability of the interviewer. Disability mainly includes upper limbs, lower limbs, trunk, head and neck, hearing and vision. Check their functions to ensure that the degree of disability will not affect the work ability of firefighters.

In any of the following circumstances, no application may be made:

1, who has received criminal punishment or public security management punishment; Suspected crime has not been ascertained; Having a record of drug abuse, hooliganism, theft, gambling, alcoholism and other bad behaviors;

2, by law enforcement and discipline inspection departments to review; Has been expelled from China * * * Party membership; It is listed as a joint disciplinary object of dishonesty according to law;

3. The immediate family members or close relatives are sentenced to punishment, and the immediate family members or collateral blood relatives who have a great influence on me have been placed on file for review or are being sentenced to more than fixed-term imprisonment; Lineal blood relatives or collateral blood relatives who have great influence on themselves shall be sentenced for endangering national security;

4. Unable to participate in normal exercise and high-intensity duty training due to physical reasons; Abandoning his post in the training stage of recruiting full-time firefighters in this area, and being dismissed or expelled from the fire rescue team due to violation of discipline; There are other circumstances that are not suitable for fire control work.

To sum up, full-time firefighters who meet the recruitment requirements and perform well are recommended to participate in the recruitment of firefighters of the National Comprehensive Fire Rescue Team and the entrance examination of China Fire Rescue College. Those who pass the recruitment examination will be given corresponding ranks and salary grades according to their working years as full-time government firefighters.

Firefighter recruitment is organized and implemented according to the procedures of publicity and mobilization, organization registration, qualification examination, physical examination, political examination, physical fitness test and post adaptability test, psychological test and interview, publicity and employment. The specific order can be adjusted according to the needs of recruitment.

(1) Publicity and mobilization. Announce the recruitment announcement of firefighters in a unified way, and carry out extensive policy consultation and publicity and mobilization through the internet, newspapers and television.

(2) Organizing registration. Online registration is generally used. The recruitment object logs on to the online recruitment platform within the specified time to enter the registration information.

(3) qualification examination. Conduct online preliminary examination of the registration information and conduct on-site audit of the original documents.

(4) physical examination. Physical examination shall be carried out in designated general hospitals above the municipal level, and the standards shall be implemented with reference to the Physical Examination Standards for Citizens (Ground Personnel).

Recruits who have doubts about the physical examination results may be re-examined with the consent of the provincial firefighter recruitment agency, and the physical examination results shall be subject to the re-examination conclusion. Items that can affect the examination results by taking drugs or other treatment methods will not be re-examined.

(5) Political assessment. According to the requirements of political assessment of conscription, the political outlook, religious beliefs, political words and deeds of recruits are assessed in strict accordance with the prescribed procedures. In case of any of the circumstances listed in Articles 8 and 9 of the Provisions on Political Assessment of Conscription, the political assessment shall not be passed. At the same time, comprehensively check and understand the personal basic information, education level, graduation school, main experience, actual performance, rewards and punishments, political status, etc. of family members and major social relations members, and review personnel files.

(6) Physical fitness test and post adaptability test. Physical fitness test mainly examines the muscle strength, muscle endurance and flexibility of recruits; The post adaptability test mainly examines the coordination ability, spatial position perception and psychological adaptability to high altitude and dark environment of the recruited objects.

The items and standards of physical fitness test and post adaptability test shall be formulated by the emergency management department.

(7) Psychological test and interview. Psychological test mainly examines the psychological endurance and self-adjustment ability of the recruited object; The interview mainly examines the body shape, gfd, language expression and communication ability of the candidate.

(8) publicity. According to the political assessment, physical examination, physical fitness test, job adaptability test, psychological test and interview of the candidates to be recruited, the list of candidates to be hired is proposed on the basis of merit, and the publicity time is not less than 5 working days.

(9) Employment. Upon the expiration of publicity, the list of employees shall be determined according to the publicity. If there are no problems or the problems reflected will not affect the employment, the employment procedures shall be handled in accordance with the prescribed procedures; If there are serious problems and there is evidence, they will not be hired; If there is a serious problem in the report, but it is difficult to verify it at the moment, the employment will be suspended, and the decision whether to hire will be made after verification and conclusion.

The list of employees shall be sent to the human resources and social security department for filing.
