Thunder filled the rain, and apes chirped at night. The wind is rustling and the wood is rustling. I miss my son and I am worried.

3. Translation

Do you miss me? I have mixed feelings.

Thunder rolled, it rained, and apes sang all night.

The wind is blowing, the leaves are falling, and it is futile to miss the goddess.

4. Nine Songs Shan Gui is the work of Qu Yuan, a great poet of Chu in the Warring States Period. This poem is a hymn to Shan Gui.
