(scientific name: Paris polyphylla) is a plant of Paris of Liliaceae. Alias Paris polyphylla, Polygonum cuspidatum, [1] Paris polyphylla root, Quanxie, Caoheche, Paris polyphylla, Baigansui, Paris polyphylla, Insect gizzard, Jiuhoop, Yuanyang worm, Branchflower head, Luosiqi, Conch VII, Dengtaiqi, Baihe Che, Tianqi Sanqi and Tianqi are characterized by a circle of whorled leaves. It can be divided into two parts, namely, the outer wheel flower and the inner wheel flower. The outer flower is very similar to the leaf, with about six pieces and the inner flower with about eight pieces. The leaf order of heptaphyllum belongs to whorled leaves, and the number of leaves varies from 4 to 14, which is "heptaphyllum". The structure of flowers is quite special: leaves are like wheels, which will bloom, calyx is green and petals are banded. Taiwan Province Province was used to treat snake venom, sores and swelling in the early stage.
It is distributed in Bhutan, Viet Nam, Sikkim, Nepal, Taiwan Province Province, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Sichuan and other places in Chinese mainland, and grows in forests at an altitude of 1800 to 3,200m.
Has the effects of clearing away heat and toxic materials, relieving swelling and pain, and calming the liver. Used for furuncle, sore throat, snake bite, traumatic injury and convulsion.
