What should I pay attention to when transporting tilapia fry in Gifu?
Gifu tilapia larvae are more delicate than other tilapia, and are prone to stress during transportation. Therefore, accidents are easy to occur due to careless transportation operation, and preparations should be made before transporting seedlings to reduce transportation deaths. Stop feeding 2 ~ 3 days before the fry are transported, conditionally replace some of the fatter pond water in the fry pond, and flush with clear water, so that the fry of tilapia can "grab water" first and discharge some feces in the body. Carry out intensive training once a day for more than 2 days, so that fry can gradually adapt to the intensive environment. The temperature difference between the water temperature in the pond and the water in the transport vehicle shall not exceed 3℃. If the temperature difference is large due to the high temperature in the pond, the fry should first enter the temporary culture pond or rush into the river (well water) with low water temperature in the hanging pond, and then transport after adjusting the fresh water to meet the transport requirements. The hanging time before loading should not be too long, and it should be controlled at around 1 hour. When handling, you must use buckets to hold water for handling. There is more water in the bucket than fish. Never carry it with water or fish directly. After adopting the above method, the transportation survival rate is high.
