On Literature and History: (6) Author Emperor: Zhao Ji VS Li Hong
Born in Jiangning House (now Nanjing, Jiangsu Province) on Qixi Festival in 937 AD, he was the sixth son of Li Jing, the ruler of the Southern Tang Dynasty. In 947, he was obsessed with poetry and calligraphy. Because of his heavy eyes and strange appearance, he was suspected by his eldest brother, Prince Li Hongji. He had to be obsessed with classics, regardless of politics, and called himself "Zhong Yin" to make his ambition clear. In 959, Prince Li Hongji died of illness. Although he didn't want to, he still had to enter the East Palace and become his hometown of Chu Jun. In June, 19961,Li Jing died of illness. As a prince, he shoulders the foundation of the country, but who knows his inner reluctance? In 975, it was defeated by the Song Dynasty and banned in Tokyo. In less than three years, he died and regretted having this life. ...

He is Li Yu (Yu), the ruler of the late Southern Tang Dynasty. Every time this name is mentioned, he always has a lot of disappointment and helplessness: he could have been a poet, painter and quyi artist, but he was born in the emperor's family and had to face the pain of the last days of his home country.

Now Tian Zifeng collates and compares Song Huizong Evonne (jí) and Gan Qinglong Li Hong, both emperors, but they also have a good reputation. Who knows how wonderful they can be and how to taste history (only representing personal views)?

I. Administrative measures

Evonne Song Huizong 1

There is a saying in the history of the Song Dynasty: "Since ancient times, people have been frustrated by playthings, but they have been defeated by indulgence. Those who rarely survive are very ignorant of Hui Zong, so they have taken the warning. " Visible, Song Huizong and Evonne's ability as monarchs in politics is not flattering.

After Hui Zong ascended the throne, she shared the right to dispose of military affairs with Empress Dowager Cixi. Facing the sharp contradiction between reformists and conservatives in the DPRK, he was indifferent. Instead, under the banner of expounding the new law, he hired a large number of political speculators, led by Cai Jing, who believed in Buddhism and Taoism, built temples, and spent money without asking about government affairs. As a result, extra-legal taxes are increasing day by day, corrupt officials openly sell their officials, and the political situation has plummeted.

2. Qing Gan Long Li Hong

Compared with Song Huizong and Evonne's "political immorality", Gan Qing Long Li Hong is quite capable.

After Qianlong ascended the throne, in order to alleviate the political tension caused by Yongzheng period, he adopted the political program of "combining leniency with severity, combining leniency with severity, and being harmonious but different"; Rebuild and improve the organizational system and authority of military departments, and greatly strengthen the imperial power; Attach importance to the management of officials, severely punish corruption, strictly assess officials with "Beijing inspection" and "big plan", and seriously deal with corruption cases. Thus creating a "prosperous time". From these aspects, Qianlong can be described as a wise king of a generation.

However, it took six trips to Jiangnan, wasting people and money; It is also a "literary prison" in Daxing, causing political panic. I have to say that it is an unwise place to govern. But on the whole, success is greater than failure, and it is also quite successful for politics.

Second, military strategy.

Evonne Song Huizong 1

As the monarch of national subjugation, Song Huizong and Evonne made no achievements in military affairs:

2. Qing Gan Long Li Hong

Gan Long calls himself "the old man in Shiquan", which shows that he is quite complacent about his military achievements, that is, "those who have made ten achievements, razed Junggar II, set up a department back, fought Jinchuan II, pacified Taiwan Province I, and surrendered Burma Annan I, that is, they were now surrendered by Gurkha, making it ten". Although there is suspicion of exultation, I have to admit that Gan Long is still very talented militarily.

Third, the way of monarch and minister

Song Huizong and Evonne can be said to be representatives of traitor ministers. He was partial to the powerful minister Cai Jing, which made the country's politics corrupt and extravagant, and the political situation deteriorated sharply, eventually leading to the national subjugation in the Northern Song Dynasty. In contrast, Gan Qing Long Li Hong is quite wise. In the early days of the throne, talents were selected and appointed, corrupt officials were severely punished, and the official administration was clear. However, after middle age, he lusted after the right to trust small Shenyang, and greed prevailed and bureaucracy was very bad.

Fourth, the emperor's father

Song Huizong Evonne and Qing Qianlong Li Hong were both emperors, but their purposes and circumstances were quite different:

Song Huizong Evonne gave way to his son, Song Qinzong Zhao Huan, because he was afraid of the military power of 8 jin j and didn't want to be blamed as the king of national subjugation. In the final analysis, it is quite shameful to evade responsibility.

On the other hand, in order not to break the record of Kangxi's reign of 6 1 year, he chose 60 years of meditation. Even so, Qianlong lectured as the emperor's father and held real power.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) literary achievements

Later generations often say: "When Song Huizong was studying, he established calligraphy, painting and arithmetic. At that time, he paid attention to art and prose, and he was bold and skillful, so Pi Xi ā ng's calligraphy has been treasured to this day. " It can be seen that Zhao Ji of Song Huizong is brilliant in literary talent and well versed in this: in calligraphy, he created a unique "thin gold body" in painting (thin and smooth, with sharp edges), regardless of landscapes, flowers, birds and figures, everything can be "shaped by objects, obtained at will, made by strokes, distributed in the hair tips, and everything has its physiology".

Li Hong, the Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, was somewhat dwarfed and quite arty. Although he wrote poems of emperors, * * * wrote as many as 426 13 poems, with an average of10.3 poems a day, which is unprecedented. However, most of these poems are "one, two, three or four, five, six, seven or eight, nine, ten and eleven, and they are all gone when they fly into the grass", which has no appreciation or tasting value.

To sum up, there are two emperors who are famous for their literature (only representing their personal views): Song Huizong Evonne is a "true" scholar and a "false" emperor, "being a scholar is really peerless and comes from an imperial family"; Li Hong, the emperor of Qing Dynasty, was a "true" emperor and a "false" scholar, and his "arty elegance was peerless, and his great achievements existed in name only".
