How about learning a yoga instructor?
In recent years, yoga instructor courses have sprung up like mushrooms after rain, which usually takes time and money. It is normal for the basic 200-hour course to ask for 10000 RMB. For practitioners who want to be a yoga teacher or are eager to improve themselves, the information on the Internet is usually varied, but very limited. Most people have to go astray once or twice before they can figure out what the yoga instructor class is all about.

When I was looking for a yoga instructor for training, I found that few people shared relevant information. In addition, I personally experienced two completely different yoga instructor courses in a row, and this year I took the third advanced yoga instructor. So I decided to share how to choose a yoga instructor course, so that other interested people can avoid detours. Yoga instructor training is not cheap!

There are two kinds of people who practice yoga. The first kind of people simply enjoy the state of exercise and relaxation, and the second kind of people are immersed in the physical and mental exercise brought by yoga practice. This article is written for the second kind of people, especially those practitioners who are no longer satisfied with the classroom teaching in general halls but are interested in yoga instructor training.

There are thousands of yoga instructor trainings. How to choose the most suitable one? Ask yourself first, why do you want to sign up for yoga instructor training?

1. What is the right yoga for you?

Before thinking about this problem clearly, it is a waste of money and inefficient to enroll in countless classes, workshops and even more yoga instructor training. Only by knowing the significance of yoga practice to yourself can you know what kind of practice you are suitable for.

On the road of yoga practice, as long as you are in the right direction, you are not afraid to walk too slowly. Everyone who practices yoga knows that as long as they keep practicing, they will make progress. There is no standard answer to this question. As long as you think clearly, you can definitely make your study and self-practice more clear and efficient, and then you can know what kind of yoga instructor class you want.

2. Why do you want to participate in yoga instructor training?

There are usually two basic answers to this question: to cultivate the ability of yoga teachers (including wanting to change jobs and improve their teaching skills) or to improve their yoga practice.

-For those who want to teach yoga-

Generally, a 200-hour yoga instructor will definitely include dozens of hours of yoga teaching, and more serious schools will also provide teaching practice and teaching graduation exams. But it should be noted that no one will become a teacher immediately after learning these hours. This kind of course can really give you some teaching ideas and skills, but it is still far from the real teaching scene.

It is suggested that students who are interested in developing into full-time or part-time students should start teaching after obtaining the license, and do not have to teach directly in the hall. Inexperienced people basically start with a substitute teacher who has a meal without a meal, but you still need to accumulate teaching experience, or you can start with friends and relatives around you, and most of them will give sincere advice!

For those who want to improve themselves-

Even if you just want to improve yourself, you can participate in yoga instructor training. Most yoga instructor training will accept these students (but it is best to ask the organizer before signing up). It should be noted that there may be some teaching skills or teaching practices in the course, which cannot be skipped to meet the class hours. According to my personal experience, it is very likely that after finishing the teaching practice class, I will open my enthusiasm for sharing and start to want to teach yoga classes! On the other hand, if you really don't like teaching courses, you may still have to attend a certain number of hours, because if you don't study more hours, you won't get a certificate.

There is a third kind of person.

Finally, there is actually another kind of person who wants to know what yoga is, to learn something new, or to learn something while relaxing on vacation. If you have such an idea, you must first be mentally prepared. Training is usually very intensive and may feel a little hard. I do yoga every day, which may be a little boring. If I want to explore other places, I must wait until class is over. For these people, I am actually very encouraging, because yoga is really good physical and mental exercise, not only can you learn something, but you will be refreshed and energetic when you come back from vacation.

My only suggestion is, don't force yourself to do advanced exercises in class, don't compare your own exercises with those of professional students, as long as you stay relaxed and curious about learning, you can also gain something during the holidays.

3. What do you want to learn from the training?

This question is related to the previous one. After you figure out why you want to participate, you can think about what you want to learn. This will be different from the self-exercise that everyone wants to bring to students and students are interested in. Generally, we can consider school, advanced posture, teaching skills, yoga philosophy, purification, chakra, meditation, or other special practice skills.
