1954, he successively served as distribution director and office director of China Film Corporation.
Since 196 1, he has been the deputy manager of China Film Distribution and Projection Company (except that he was persecuted during the ten-year turmoil and transferred from China Film Company for a period of time), and has been responsible for film output and input. In the early 1960s, he assisted the then managers, Yang Shaoren and Hong Zhang, to set up domestic film distribution points in Hong Kong, and based in Hong Kong, he opened up a distribution network of China films in Southeast Asia.
