Nine creative skills in graphic design

Space is limited, so it is the designer's responsibility to arrange the space reasonably and make it play its greatest role. In terms of graphic creativity, it is common that a single fixed visual image is dead, which often fails to arouse people's thinking. Create a fresh and interesting visual image. We should learn to make different, novel and break the inherent shapes of things, and use the organic combination of two or more shapes to produce novel visual effects and new meanings. This is the addition creation of graphics, and there are rules to follow. Various elements can be harmoniously organized by using different images, positive and negative shapes, * * * students, unified purchase and gradual change. You can also use a single modeling element for subtraction creation, such as reducing missing graphics, or you can use visual elements for unconventional performance, such as unreasonable graphics and mixed-dimensional graphics. Here are nine creative skills in graphic design that I brought to you. Welcome to reading.

First, different shadow graphics

Objects are generally only the representation of the theme, while images are the true reflection of the theme. They interact to express a meaning and an idea.

Second, the positive and negative graphics

Also called inverted graph, orthomorphic and negative graphs are borrowed and interdependent. The graph is orthomorphic and the bottom is negative, which can be inverted. Black and white are relative. Without black, there is no white, without space, there is no reality.

Designers should cherish ink as gold, not only embody more information in a limited space, but also enhance the pure ingenuity and visual freshness of the picture, and imply the potential relationship between the two through the interdependence of images.

Third, * * * original graphics.

In design, breaking a contour line can only define the reality of an object image, and using a contour line to define two closely connected and mutually set off images at the same time, so that the contour lines between the shapes can be transformed and used for reference, and more and richer meanings can be expressed with as few lines as possible, showing the charm of streamline writing.

Fourth, pun graphics.

Pun graphics refers to graphics involving double interpretation, one is to re-apply surface meaning, the other is implied meaning, and implied meaning is often the main meaning of graphics. What is said here is what is said there, which can receive interesting expression effects.

Fifth, collect graphics.

In graphic design, we can repeatedly integrate single or similar element shapes to form another new visual image and create novel gathering graphics to express ideas. The unit morphological elements that make up a graph are mostly used to reflect the properties and characteristics of a comprehensive image to strengthen the meaning of the graph itself.

Six, isomorphic graphics

Biological hybridization and plant grafting may create new varieties and new life. Isomorphic graphics create strange visual effects and show new illogical relationships through unrealistic fusion between different objects and shapes, thus breaking through the limitations of the original meanings of objects and shapes and generating new meanings.

1. Isomeric graph

Unreasonable substances are unrealistically connected into a whole through the similarity of their shapes, conveying some specific information and the relationship between different properties, thus creating new meanings and values.

2. Transpose isomorphic graphics

Also known as stealing the column, it refers to the unrealistic construction of a specific element that constitutes a certain substance and another element that does not belong to a certain substance to convey new meanings.

3. Heterogeneous isomorphic graphics

In the design, we can graft the material of one object to another completely different object according to the idea, so as to make the two objects have a relationship and make the original humble image become a new visual graphic because of the change of material.

Seven, unreasonable graphics

Also known as paradox figure, it uses unnatural construction methods to move the familiar, reasonable and fixed order of the objective world into the absurd and unconventional image world with chaotic logic, with the purpose of breaking the physical and psychological barriers between the real and illusory, the subjective and the objective world, and revealing the hidden meaning of the object form in the unreasonable, illegal and re-recognized object form.

1. Reverse graph

The objective image is purposefully treated in an orderly, disorderly and direction reversal manner, thus expressing new meanings.

2. Unreasonable graphics

Everything has a real objective existence, but as an artistic creation, we can boldly imagine the reality, turn the unrealistic into reality, turn the impossible into the possible, and turn the irrelevant into the relevant. With imagination, we can explore the possibility of graphic creation and its new significance.

3. contradiction space

On the two-dimensional plane, it is an imaginary space that cannot exist or reappear in the three-dimensional real space, creating an unreal visual illusion and full of interest.

Eight, mixed dimension graphics

Mixed-dimensional graphics interweave two-dimensional and three-dimensional, illusion and reality through strange creativity, and pursue unexpected performance. It first makes people's habitual thinking produce an expectation, and then breaks the viewer's inherent imagination in an unexpected way, thus deepening the visual experience.

Nine, gradient graphics

When graphics are expressed, the transformation relationship from one object shape to another will be used to convey the final meaning. The shape of an object is transformed into the shape of another object regularly, orderly and naturally. This wonderful transformation brings two unrelated substances into contact, thus creating a new vision.
