In fact, this "gentleman" didn't know much about street fitness before. For a long time, I thought street fitness was actually something similar to gymnastics, or a sub-version of gymnastics. Later, I learned slowly that the two are not the same thing at all. Gymnastics is more limited to the rules of competition and the requirements for the integrity of movements, while street fitness pays attention to randomness, and casual movements are more suitable for street fitness. So street fitness and going to the gym are more suitable for street fitness.
First, the morphological gap of muscles.
If two people stand together, the difference in muscle effect is very obvious. Muscle lines from street sports are more obvious and look more explosive and powerful, while muscles from gym sports look bigger and fuller. At the same time, people who have been exercising for three months may just start, and their muscle changes may not be obvious, and they may look thinner at most.
Second, the practical gap of muscles
In fact, there is no difference between the two gyms, both of which are good ways to keep fit, but because of the different training methods, the muscles trained are different in practicality. Generally, the muscles developed by people in the gym are absolute strength, that is, how much iron they can lift, how much Jin they can bench press and how much Jin they can pull hard, while the muscles developed by street fitness are relative strength, such as making difficult and complicated movements with their own weight and muscle strength. In contrast, the muscles trained in the gym are absolutely strong, while the muscles, flexibility and relative strength of street fitness are stronger.
Third, the physical quality gap.
For us ordinary people, whether it is street fitness or gym fitness, the ultimate goal is to be stronger and healthier. So is there a big gap between the two fitness methods? In fact, the gap is not big. Although there may be a big gap in the presentation of muscles, their physical fitness is also very strong, at least much stronger than ordinary people. If there is a gap, it is that people who exercise in the street have stronger cardiopulmonary function.
There is no difference in muscle strength between the two fitness methods. Street fitness pays more attention to the combination and difficulty of movements. This is what they compare, such as human flagpole and one-handed push-ups. Most people who exercise in the gym will lift heavier things.
Why do you think fewer people exercise in the street than in the gym?
