First, a jade belt hangs in the forest-Lin Daiyu's early design of "ending" Lin Daiyu's character, fate and ending. A Dream of Red Mansions is well described. In A Dream of Red Mansions, Lin Daiyu died in the last 40 episodes. According to the plot in front of A Dream of Red Mansions, Lin Daiyu should have committed suicide. However, in the last forty chapters of Gao Calyx's sequel, she died of illness. Others say that doing so will reduce her artistic value. I want to talk about my views on the design arrangement of Lin Daiyu's death.
Judging from the name, Lin Daiyu's character, fate and ending are all contained in her name and font size. Even the "Xiaoxiang Pavilion" where she lives is a symbol of her fate and ending. Some poems and riddles written by Daiyu are also revealed. The so-called "Chu Ke heartbroken, ChristianRandPhillips was full of tears" (Cen Can listened to Luoshan people play the Three Gorges flowing spring in autumn night) is a portrayal of "Princess Xiaoxiang". Not only that, but even the names of several maids around Lin Daiyu, such as Zijuan, Xueyan and Chunxian, set off the fate and ending of Daiyu. According to the author's allusions, E Huang and Nv Ying cried for Shun, and even threw themselves into the river, which implies that Daiyu died of love and tears. I even wonder if she drowned in the river.
However, whether it is death or drowning, Baoyu's judgment in the booklet "Zhengchai" he saw in the fifth time of Taixu sleepwalking seems to be inconsistent with the picture. Some people question this, and I think this is reasonable. The fifth time "Zheng Juan" was seen by Baoyu, and the verdict was:
I saw two dead trees painted on the first floor, and a jade belt hung on the wood; There is another pile of snow. Under the heavy snow, the stock was golden. There are four more words: it's a pity to stop, but it's a pity to be awesome. The jade belt hangs in the forest and is buried in the snow.
Obviously, this verdict and book picture are about the fate and ending of Lin Daiyu and Xue Baochai. (1) The so-called "two dead trees": it is a word "forest"; "Jade belt" is the homonym of "Daiyu". ② The so-called "snow" is the homonym of "Xue"; "Golden hairpin" means "Baochai". These explanations are extremely superficial. In other words, the homophonic method shows that the Judgment and the book pictures were written by Baochai and Daiyu. So what does the second meaning mean-like other judgments and books, it shows the future fate and ending of the characters?
"Cherish talent as gold" —— Borrowing the allusion from Xie Daowen's "Singing Snow", it is said that Lin Daiyu's talent is equal to that of talented woman Xie Daowen. But a "pity" is that Lin Daiyu wasted this talent, which is regrettable and pitiful.
"Jade belt hangs the forest, gold hairpin buries the snow", some people say this means:
Hanging a jade belt in the forest: say Lin Daiyu. The first three words are read backwards to coordinate their names. Judging from the picture of "two dead trees (Shuang Mu is the forest) hung with a circle of jade belts", it may be that Daiyu died in tears, and Baoyu gave up all worldly desires in order to remember her (the jade belt symbolizes the life of your son).
-quoting "Lin Daiyu and Xue Baochai" I think this explanation is also very reasonable, but I think it refers more to the ending of Lin Daiyu and Xue Baochai.
Judging from the drawings and judgments, Daiyu probably couldn't bear this kind of pain and mental torture. After "Li Jue" failed to commit suicide, he went to the Grand View Garden and ended his life with "a jade belt". "Jade belt" is a belt used to tie the waist in ancient times, so imagine Daiyu hanging herself with her own belt. This not only conforms to the picture of "a jade belt hanging on the wood", but also conforms to the meaning of "a jade belt hanging in the forest" in the judgment.
Such a guess is just my guess from pictures and judgments. It is said that there are several manuscripts such as Baojian, Lu and Historical Records in the original manuscript of A Dream of Red Mansions, which was finally changed into A Dream of Red Mansions. Therefore, when Cao Xueqin revised the manuscript, in the process of adding or deleting it, or under the intervention of Zhi Yanzhai and others, it was not necessary to write Lin Daiyu as sick. In the constant revision, many plots, characters and judgments, judgments and fourteen songs are different, forming many contradictions, which are not difficult to find among the characters in the book. Second, "I should go back." -Daiyu is absolutely dying.
In the eighty-ninth chapter of the book, Daiyu heard that Baoyu was going to marry someone else, believing it, and wanted to die without eating or drinking. Later, she misunderstood and solved the disease. Although Daiyu's suicide failed, it made me realize the fact that Daiyu only lives for Baoyu! Judging from this incident, I think Daiyu died of her own free will.
Baoyu and Daiyu have been together since childhood, and their love has reached the point where "neither a gentleman nor a lady marries". Daiyu has heard and seen too much about the ugly behavior of those secular and smelly men. How terrible are those wolves in human skin! In feudal society, a woman's lifelong event was marriage. If you can't marry Baoyu, the future is unimaginable (just like Jia Yingchun was destroyed by Sun Shaoping, the wolf of Zhongshan). Baochai once said with a smile that she wanted to be a sister-in-law, but she silently refused. Aunt Xue is right. Xue Pan is so virtuous that Xiangling is not worthy. How can she be worthy of Daiyu? Therefore, Daiyu had already made preparations, and once something went against her, she would die! This suicide is enough to prove it.
In front of the book, Lin Daiyu is a sharp-edged person. When someone accidentally touched her in her words, she immediately fought back. Sometimes she is too sharp to offend people, but she still defends herself everywhere. But in retrospect, only Baoyu and Baochai are the same in Yuan Chun's gifts. After this, Daiyu began to restrain her impatience, especially when Baoqin entered Jia Fu, and she reacted abnormally to all the words:
Baochai said, "... I don't believe my children are inferior to you." While speaking, Baoyu and Daiyu came in, and Baochai laughed at you. Xiangyun said with a smile, "Sister Bao, although you are stubborn, some people really think so." Amber smiled; "No one else is really annoyed, only her." Pointing at Baoyu, he said. Baochai and Xiangyun both laughed and said, "Not this kind of person." Amber smiled again: "It's either her or her." She pointed to Daiyu again. Xiangyun is silent. Baochai said with a smile, "Not at all. My sister is the same as her sister. What she likes hurts more than me, so why bother? You talk nonsense. What evidence does her mouth have? " ..... At that time, Lin Daiyu called her sister Baoqin again, without mentioning her surname. She has always been my sister.
Xiangyun's words hit the nail on the head of Daiyu. Daiyu must be unhappy. It's really surprising that she didn't refute with sharp teeth. If she used to swear, she would say something like "Her sister is my sister". This shows that Lin Daiyu has really changed a lot. I remember Baoyu asked her if she wanted a gift from Yuan Chun. She cried and told Baoyu to find Baochai in the future. Don't come to her and wish Baoyu a "golden marriage", or Daiyu has seen that she has no hope of marrying Baoyu at this time, so she wants to commit suicide once something happens.
One more thing, it was Jia Mu who decided Baoyu's marriage, and the Jia family was declining. She's an old man. It's no use. What she has to do now is to try her best to keep Jia's property, and her granddaughter's affairs are gradually out of her control. At this time, her power was also reduced, and Baoyu's marriage slowly fell on Mrs. Wang. After Zi Juan tried Baoyu, the love between Baoyu and Daiyu became public, but Mrs. Wang and others only said that they had been together since childhood, and their relationship was different from others, so they were reluctant to part and refused to admit their love. Mrs. Wang once told Xifeng that Qingwen was like your sister Lin, that she was like a snake in her waist and a sick beauty, and that I just couldn't hide her arrogant appearance, which was obviously an innuendo. Copying the Grand View Garden to drive Qingwen away is an example to demonstrate to Daiyu: If you want to be Baoyu's daughter-in-law, there is no way! So, Daiyu should know.
To sum up, I think it makes sense to say that Daiyu committed suicide.
Third, the quality is clean and neat.
Ancient people, modern people, China people and foreigners will all die. Centenarians are common in the world, chitose is a myth, and long live is a eulogy. In a word, everyone is doomed to die, wisdom and stupidity are all equal. Everyone dies in different ways and causes, and the meaning of death is also different. "Historical Records" has a cloud: some people die like Mount Tai, and some people die like a feather; Some people die in obscurity, while others take care of their own hearts and history. For most people, it is to live an ordinary life and die peacefully.
Death is reflected in all kinds of literary works, but I think the death written in A Dream of Red Mansions has its own characteristics and personality:
Qin Keqing's death makes people think, Jinchuan's death makes people feel sorry, Qingwen's death makes people feel sad, You Sanjie's death makes people angry, You Erjie's death makes people hate, Siqi's death makes people feel terrible, her death makes people feel sad, her death makes people angry, her death makes people envy, Yuanyang's death makes people admire, Aunt Zhao's death makes people sigh, and Miaoyu's death makes people sigh.
-A Dream of Red Mansions
This passage makes an appropriate evaluation of Cao Xueqin's Dream of Red Mansions. As for Lin Daiyu's death, I think the poem "Mourning for the Death" written by her twenty-seventh time is a portrayal of her death.
Lin Daiyu won the favor of her grandmother from an early age, and everyone took good care of her. But she was seriously ill and died, and no one came to see her (Li Zhi, Pinger and Tanchun came only when she knew she was dying). So sad! This is because the Jia family cares less about her. After the death of her granddaughter Lin Daiyu, Granddaughter Jia said, "You are my granddaughter, like a family. Compared with Baoyu, Baoyu is closer than you. " Hey! Just because Jia's attitude has changed a little, everyone's attitude has changed greatly, and human feelings have become so indifferent. I really answered the sentence, "bloom is full of flowers, and the fragrance is gone. Who has pity?"
When Daiyu "cried to death" for Baoyu, Baoyu was cheated into marrying Baochai. After all, Daiyu couldn't see her beloved before she died. Finally, she shouted, "Hello, Baoyu …" What is "Hello"? Did Xifeng say, "Baoyu, you are so cruel!" And then what? Yes, "the nest has been built in March, and Liang Jianyan is too heartless"! No one visited and asked, and even the man he liked became a "swallow in the beam." Is it really "Who pities Hong Xiang?" "Peach and plum can be sent again next year. Who knows in the boudoir next year? ..... Although you can peck flowers and go to the empty nest next year, it is not the way. " In the spring of that day, the flowers in bloom fell. "Two (fallen flowers) died today and were buried in Nong", and "Who was buried in Nong" today? "Don't mourn for me, I don't know if the flowers fall and people die!" Recalling that day, in Yikang Hospital, red love began to sprout; On the bank of Qin Fang Bridge, Fang Meng just passed by. The two are affectionate. Today, only the fallen individual is dead and fragrant.
Qingwen, as the shadow of Lin Daiyu, was driven out of the Grand View Garden innocently. She refused to accept, scolded and hated, but she finally met Baoyu before she died and could die in Baoyu's clothes. However, Daiyu failed to see Baoyu for the last time and died like a fallen flower. Daiyu herself has a proud figure. When she died, her wish was: "May wings be born under the threat of slaves and flowers fly to the end of the sky. /After all, where is Xiangshan? /hide the wind without a trick. /Clean quality is better than being trapped in a ditch. "
Those who owe tears have exhausted their tears, and there is no need to stay in this world.
"It's time to go back." -Lin Daiyu.
If there is an afterlife, don't go into the red chamber.
