Use and common sense of fire fighting equipment
1. What are the fire fighting equipments and how to use them?

First, fire fighting equipment mainly includes fire extinguishers, fire hydrant systems and fire rescue tools:

1. Fire extinguishers include dry powder fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, household fire extinguishers, vehicle-mounted fire extinguishers, forest fire extinguishers, stainless steel fire extinguishers, water-based fire extinguishers, hanging fire extinguishers, gun-type fire extinguishers, fire extinguisher box, fire extinguisher racks, etc.

2. Indoor fire hydrant system, including indoor fire hydrant, hose and water gun.

3, demolition tools, including fire axe, cutting tools, etc. As for the others, they all belong to the fire protection system, such as automatic fire alarm system, automatic sprinkler system, smoke control system, fire separation system, fire broadcasting system, gas fire extinguishing system, emergency evacuation system and so on.

Fire extinguisher is a portable fire extinguishing device that can be moved by human power. It can put out the fire by spraying the filled extinguishing agent under its internal pressure. There are many kinds of fire extinguishers, and their application ranges are also different. Only by correctly selecting the types of fire extinguishers can we effectively put out different kinds of fires and achieve the expected results. China's current national standards divide fire extinguishers into portable fire extinguishers and vehicle-mounted fire extinguishers. The following briefly introduces the classification, application and usage of portable fire extinguishers that people often see and come into contact with.

2. The use of fire fighting equipment

If the dry powder fire extinguisher used for portable dry powder fire extinguisher is of external pressure storage type, the operator should hold the spray gun with one hand and lift the opening bail on the gas cylinder with the other.

If the cylinder is opened by handwheel, loosen it counterclockwise, turn it to the highest position, and then lift the fire extinguisher. When the dry powder is ejected, it is quickly aimed at the root of the flame.

Portable 12 1 1 fire extinguisher, first pull out the safety pin, then open the pressure handle with one hand, hold the handle of the horn spray tube with the other hand, and open the pressure handle forcefully to spray. The country gradually restricts the use of haloalkane, which mainly pollutes the atmosphere and is harmful to human body. )

Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers are gradually replacing 12 1 1 fire extinguishers, and the use method is the same as that of 12 1 1 fire extinguishers. But when using carbon dioxide, be careful not to hold the nozzle or touch your mouth with your hands to prevent frostbite.

The fire extinguishing liquid in foam extinguisher, foam extinguisher, consists of aluminum sulfate, sodium bicarbonate and licorice essence. When the foam extinguisher is turned upside down, foam can be sprayed to cover the fire site to achieve the purpose of fire extinguishing.

Suitable for extinguishing fires in bottled oil, pipelines and the ground. Not suitable for fires of electrical equipment and precision metal products.

Carbon dioxide fire extinguisher Carbon dioxide is a non-conductive gas, which is denser than air and is a liquid under high pressure in a steel cylinder. When putting out a fire, just flip the switch and carbon dioxide will be sprayed on the fire in the state of airflow, isolating the air and extinguishing the flame.

Suitable for small-area fires in precision instruments, electrical equipment and petroleum laboratories. When carbon dioxide changes from liquid to gas, it absorbs a lot of heat and the temperature is extremely low (up to -80℃), so frostbite should be avoided.

At the same time, although carbon dioxide is non-toxic, it has asphyxiating effect and should be avoided as much as possible. Extended data:

Isolation fire extinguishing method Isolation fire extinguishing method is to isolate or remove the burning substances from the unburned combustible substances around, interrupt the supply of combustible substances, and stop burning because of the lack of combustible substances.

The specific method is as follows: 1. Remove inflammable, explosive and combustion-supporting articles near the fire source; 2. Close the valves of combustible gas and liquid pipelines to reduce and prevent combustible substances from entering the combustion zone; 3. Try to prevent scattered flammable and combustible liquids; 4. Dismantle flammable buildings adjacent to the fire source to form a space to prevent the fire from spreading. References:

3. How to use fire fighting equipment?

How to use a fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher's adaptation to the fire site and its usage (only the portable dry powder fire extinguisher is taken as an example): 1. Usage: When putting out a fire, you can quickly go to the fire site with a portable or shoulder-mounted fire extinguisher, and put down the fire extinguisher about 5 meters away from the burning place.

If you are outdoors, you should choose to spray against the wind. If the dry powder fire extinguisher used is of external pressure storage type, the operator should hold the spray gun tightly with one hand and lift the opening bail on the gas cylinder with the other hand.

If the cylinder is opened by handwheel, loosen it counterclockwise, turn it to the highest position, and then lift the fire extinguisher. When the dry powder is ejected, it is quickly aimed at the root of the flame.

If the dry powder fire extinguisher used is built-in gas cylinder or pressure storage type, the operator should first unplug the safety pin on the opening handle, then hold the nozzle at the front end of the spray hose, and press the opening handle with the other hand to open the fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. When using a fire extinguisher with a spray hose or an accumulator fire extinguisher, always hold down the handle with one hand and never let go, otherwise the spray will be interrupted.

4. Who can teach me all the knowledge about fire fighting, such as how to use the fire extinguisher and the matters needing attention?

Call the police early. The earlier the alarm, the smaller the loss. Remember the "1 19" fire alarm number. 2。

The first fire is the easiest to put out before the fire truck arrives. If you can concentrate on the rescue, you can often save the day and turn the corner.

3。 Put out the fire first, then carry the property. A moment's delay can easily lead to catastrophe.

In case of fire, it is not advisable to rescue property first, which may lead to suffocation or loss of escape opportunities. 4。

Only by holding your breath, being calm and strictly observing order can you retreat safely in the fire. If we rush to each other, crowd each other, block the passage, and lead to self-trampling, it will cause undue tragedy.

5。 The passage downstairs was blocked by fire. When there is no way out, tear the sheets and tablecloths into strips to form a rope, fasten the window, cover your palm with a cloth and slide down the rope.

6。 If the next room is on fire, don't open the door. You should jump out of the window balcony to call for help or escape by the previous method.

Otherwise, hot air and smoke will take advantage of it and make people suffocate. 7。

Don't panic when the smoke is thick. You should land on your knees and elbows and crawl forward, because fresh air often stays near you. Be careful. Breathe small and shallow.

8。 If you must go upstairs, you must hold your breath and go upstairs.

Because the speed of smoke rising is 3-5 meters per second, the speed of people going upstairs is 0 per second. 5 meters.

9。 When fleeing, cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel.

You can also wet clothes and cloth with water and cover your mouth and nose. When taking a baby to escape, you can put a wet cloth on your head, hold it in one hand and escape in the other.

10。 Before you escape, you must close the door of the room with fire.

Especially in buildings and hotels with more residents, this measure can limit the flame and smoke in one room, so as not to spread rapidly, and it can win valuable time for yourself and everyone.

5. The content of fire knowledge handwritten newspaper

Parents and teachers should educate their children to form a good habit of not playing with fire. No unit may organize minors to put out fires. Never throw cigarette butts and kindling. 3. Inflammable and combustible materials should not be used in interior decoration. 4. Fire hydrants are safe, so don't damage, occupy or bury them. 5. Take care of the fire fighting equipment. Master the use of common fire-fighting equipment. 6. Do not bring inflammable and explosive articles into public places or take public transportation. 7. Pay attention to the fire signs when entering public places, and remember the evacuation direction. 8. In any case, keep the evacuation passage clear. 9. Anyone finds any behavior that endangers the fire safety in public places. You can report to the public security fire department or the public security personnel on duty. 10. Pay special attention to domestic fire, and don't place flammable and combustible materials near the fire source. l 1。 If gas leakage is found, close the valve quickly, open the doors and windows, and do not touch the electrical switch or use naked flame. 12. Worn and aging wires should be repaired and replaced in time. 13. Do not use copper wire instead. 14. Don't overload electricity. 15. Call the police as soon as you find a fire, and the fire brigade won't charge you. 16. Anyone who knows the fire situation should tell the firemen in time the people surrounded by the fire and inflammable and explosive articles. 17. The fire is coming. Don't be greedy for money. 18. When you have to escape through thick smoke, you should try to wrap your body with soaked clothes, cover your nose and mouth, and be close to the ground. 19. If you are on fire, you can roll on the spot or cover it with thick clothes to crush the flame. 20. If you can't escape from the fire, you can block the door with soaked bedding and clothes, splash water to cool down and call for help. Don't be greedy for money. 2. Family members should know the basic methods of fire escape and be familiar with several escape routes. When threatened by fire, they should immediately put on soaked clothes and bedding and rush out in the direction of safety exit. 4. When escaping from the thick smoke, try to keep your body close to the ground and cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel. When they are on fire, don't run, but roll on the spot or crush the flames with heavy clothes. Run towards the safety exit. 7. When the door is on fire, don't open it to prevent the fire from entering the room. Block doors and windows with soaked bedding and clothes, and splash water to cool down. 8. If all escape routes are blocked by the fire, immediately return to the room and send a distress signal to the window by flashing a flashlight, waving clothes, making a phone call, etc. And wait for rescue. 9. Don't jump off a building blindly, use evacuation. Or tear sheets and quilts into strips and connect them into ropes, tie them to fixed objects such as window frames and iron railings, and slide down along the ropes, or go down to the floor where there is no fire to get out of danger. Fire prevention knowledge 1, educate children not to play with fire and electrical equipment. Don't throw cigarette butts and smoke on the bed. Don't connect the wires randomly. Never use copper or iron wire instead of circuit fuse. 4. Never store more than 0.5 liters of gasoline, alcohol, natural water and other inflammable and explosive articles at home. 5. Don't leave people when lighting with naked lights, and don't use naked lights to find things. 6. Before leaving home or going to bed, check whether the electrical appliances are powered off, whether the gas valve is closed, and whether the naked lights are extinguished. 7. Don't pile up sundries in corridors, stairs and other places, so as to ensure smooth passage and safe exit. Close the air valve quickly, open the doors and windows for ventilation, do not touch the electrical switch and use naked flame, and notify the professional maintenance department in time for handling. 9. Don't dump liquefied gas residue at will. Fire knowledge 1, call the fire alarm number 1 19 in case of fire. When giving an alarm, the detailed address, fire location, fire substance, fire size, name and telephone number of the alarm person shall be stated. Send someone to meet the fire truck at the intersection. 2. When the gas tank is on fire, cover it with soaked bedding and clothes. And quickly close the valve. 3. When household appliances or lines catch fire, cut off the power supply first, and then use dry powder or gas fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Do not splash water directly to prevent electric shock or electrical explosion from hurting people. 4. Don't open the doors and windows when putting out the fire, so as to avoid air convection and accelerate the spread of the fire. How to use the dry powder fire extinguisher. 000000000105 2. Pull out the safety pin, aim at the root of the flame and press the handle to spray; 3, in the process of fire fighting, should always keep upright, not lying or upside down; Prevent re-ignition after fire extinguishing. Fire knowledge materials teach you "Ten Tips" to avoid fire: there are two main aspects of fire casualties: first, suffocation by thick smoke and toxic gas, and second, burning of flame and strong thermal radiation. As long as we can avoid or reduce these two hazards, we can protect our own safety and reduce injuries. Therefore, if you master more fire rescue skills, you may get a second life in trouble. Everyone should know something about the structure and escape route of the building where he works, studies or lives, and be familiar with the fire-fighting facilities in the building and the methods of self-help and escape. In this way, in case of fire, there is no way out. In an unfamiliar environment, we must pay attention to the direction of evacuation routes, safety exits and stairs, so as to escape from the scene as soon as possible at a critical time. 2. Put out small fires for the benefit of others. When a fire breaks out, if the fire is not big enough to pose a great threat to people, you should make full use of the surrounding fire-fighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and other facilities to control and extinguish the small fire. Never run around in a panic, or ignore others and just "escape" yourself, or ignore a small fire, which will lead to great disaster. 3. In case of sudden fire, keep calm and evacuate quickly. When suddenly faced with smoke and fire, we must keep calm and quickly judge the dangerous position and safety. Decide the way to escape and leave the dangerous place as soon as possible. Never blindly follow the crowd, crowd each other and rush about. Only by being calm can we come up with a good solution. 4. Get out of danger as soon as possible and cherish life. Money is more important than life in the fire. When you are in danger, running away is the most important thing. You must race against time and remember not to be greedy for money. 5. Evacuate quickly and crawl forward. Don't stand when you leave the fire. Don't walk standing, climb on the ground quickly or squat to find a way to escape. 6. Make good use of the passage and don't go into the elevator and go to a dead end. In case of fire, balconies, window sills and skylights can be used. Climb to a safe place around, or along a downpipe, lightning conductor, etc.

6. What is the use method of fire fighting equipment?

The commonly used fire extinguishing methods for expanding data include: cooling fire extinguishing method, isolation fire extinguishing method and suffocation fire extinguishing method.

First, the cooling fire extinguishing method is a major fire extinguishing method. Water and carbon dioxide are often used as fire extinguishing agents to cool and extinguish fires. The extinguishing agent does not participate in the chemical reaction in the combustion process.

This method belongs to the physical fire extinguishing method. Second, the isolation fire extinguishing method is to isolate or remove the burning substances from the unburned combustible substances around them, interrupt the supply of combustible substances, and stop burning due to the lack of combustible substances.

The specific methods are: 1. Remove inflammable, explosive and combustion-supporting articles near the fire source. 2. Close the valves of combustible gas and liquid pipelines to reduce and prevent combustible substances from entering the combustion zone.

3. Try to stop the scattered flammable and combustible liquids. 4. Dismantle flammable buildings near the fire source to form a space to prevent the fire from spreading.

3. Asphyxiation fire extinguishing method Asphyxiation fire extinguishing method is a kind of fire extinguishing method that prevents air from flowing into the combustion zone or dilutes the air with incombustible substances, so that the combustion products cannot get enough oxygen and are extinguished. The specific method is: 1. Cover flammable materials with sand, cement, wet sacks and wet quilts.

2. Spray atomized water, dry powder, foam and other fire extinguishing agents to cover combustible materials. 3. Use steam or inert gases such as nitrogen and carbon dioxide to fill burning containers and equipment.
