Shooting an advertising film is quite complicated and requires the cooperation of all professionals. Therefore, preparation before shooting is particularly important. The preparation before shooting often affects the shooting effect.
1) Personnel composition of film and television advertising production: According to the actual situation of China's advertising industry, advertising producers generally include: advertising creative director, advertising producer, film and television advertising director, photographer, lighting engineer, artist, composer, music, sound editing, model, actor, makeup artist and voice actor.
2) Pre-shooting preparation meeting: At the production preparation meeting, the production company reports all the details of advertising film shooting to customers and advertising companies, and explains the reasons. Usually, the production company will submit all the details such as script, director's commentary, lighting tone, music samples, scenery scheme, actor audition, actor modeling, props, clothing and so on to the customers and advertising companies for selection, and finally confirm them one by one as the basic basis for post-shooting. If some parts cannot be confirmed at this meeting, we will arrange another time to discuss shooting until it is finalized.
3) Final preparation before shooting: Before entering the official shooting, the production staff of the production company make final confirmation and inspection on all the details determined at the final production preparation meeting to prevent any details from happening at the shooting site and ensure that the shooting of the advertising film goes smoothly as planned. Special attention should be paid to the venue, scenery, actors and special shots. In addition, before the official shooting, the production company will inform all parties including customers, advertising companies and relevant personnel of the film crew in writing about the shooting location, time, film crew and contact information.
Second, shoot
According to the resolution of the final production preparation meeting, the shooting work is carried out by the film crew at the arranged time and place according to the shooting script. In order to be responsible for customers and creativity, in addition to the film crew, producers of production companies usually contact customers, customer representatives of advertising companies and related creative personnel to participate in filming.
According to experience and work habits, in order to improve work efficiency and ensure performance quality, sometimes the shooting sequence of shots is not in accordance with the shooting script, but shots with the same position and similar depth of field are shot together. In addition, children, animals and other difficult shots are usually taken first, and still life, close-up and product shots are usually arranged at the end. In order to ensure that enough shots are shot for editing, each shot will be shot more than once, and the director may shoot more shots that are not in the script.
Third, post-production.
Post-production procedures are generally: film punching, gluing, editing, digital production, composition (or song selection), dubbing and synthesis. Of course, there is no process of film development and magnetic adhesion in the video tape.
Film processing: just like the development after taking pictures, the film used for shooting needs to be developed in a special development factory.
Colloidal magnetism: the developed film must be processed by this technology before it can be converted from the optical signal of the film to the magnetic signal for TV production, and then input into the computer to enter the editing program. In the process of magnetic transformation, the color and tone of the shooting material are generally processed.
Editing: Nowadays, editing work is generally done in the computer, so the shooting material must be input into the computer before the director and editor can start editing. In the editing stage, the director will splice the shooting materials in the order of the script and edit them into a version without visual effects, dubbing and music. Then combine the work of the stunt part into the commercial. This is the end of the picture part of the advertisement.
Digital production: Using workstations to produce some 2D and 3D special effects can reach a superb level, which plays a key role in enhancing the overall effect of advertisements.
Compose or choose music: The music of commercial movies can be composed or selected. The difference between the two is that if you compose music, commercial films will have unique music, which can be perfectly combined with the picture, but it will be more expensive; If you choose a song, it will be more economical in terms of cost, but other commercials may also use this music.
Dubbing synthesis: The voice editor adjusts the dubbing of the dubbing actor and the volume of the background music to a suitable position and synthesizes it with the picture.
Delivery: Deliver the finished film approved by the advertiser to the advertiser on time in the form agreed in the contract.
